Your voice is absolutely refreshing and keep patients in a calm meditative state. You're awesome.Thank you DR.Super, Perfect. 💖💖💖💖
I'm feeling suicidal anyway so if it goes pear shaped, pun intended, I'll go through with it for sure.
Great video ! Helps a lot ; I like to know what's going to happen and what's expected of me if I undergo treatment and this really helps to anticipate
Does the cutting of the cornea hurt during this?
Nope, eyes are numb. You don’t feel anything
I went through LASIK PRK. Before the surgery during the counseling they didnt told me the consequences of any water contact. Immediately surgery i was told not to take head bath or face wash. But i was not told clearly. One day i overused a eye drops and i got blurred vision. I accidentally put some water because of pain and got more blurness and microbial keratitis. I didnt knew the implications of drinking water on eye as it never happened before. It all happened 5 days after surgery. Now i have 20/20 in left eye which is normal but 20/100 in right eye, some corneal damage and central scar on cornea. I can see surrounds but not text and fine details. Continously using drops as prescribed. Hopefully vision will improve and they may install contact lens or glasses. Please know Dos and especially Dont's of post operation. 🙏
Ok so let’s say for arguements sake that there is a one in five million chance of going blind? Why the hell are you performing these procedures? You are knowingly causing someone a lifetime of impaired vision. In reality the chances of developing any type of vision issues is much higher with at least 20 to 30% of people suffering debilating vision issues and/or severe eye pain. This isn’t even including all the conditions that you are predisposed to after getting the surgery. The surgery literally destroys the structure and integrity of the eye. It’s a horrible procedure that has caused so many people pain and suffering and many have taken there own lives because of it. It’s absolutely disgusting that these greedy eye surgeons ignore this and continue to perform these dangerous and completely unnecessary surgeries.
I have cataracts in my left eye and I had Lasik like 22 yrs ago. I am now 51 and my left eye is a little weak like a plus 5 and my right eye has 20/20. Glasses were recommended to me but should i consider ICL to correct it. Thx
No just stick with glasses. U will develop cataracts very early and icl will have to be removed . Anyway u will tend to see many side effects too
Bgsttt ngilu kali
Got this done last week. 10/10 do recommend. Vision is better than it was with glasses/contacts, and I have less glare at night. All laser procedure, and a contact lens fitting is more annoying than this was. Eye’s still a bit dry, I have a bunch of nice eye drops, but otherwise more comfortable than I’m used to. Those first four hours sucked as badly as they warned; took their advice and took a long nap. Like touching your eyes when you are preparing chilis, but it doesn’t stop. It’s so worth it; even if it lasted a full day, it’d still be worth.
ALL types of refractive eye ops are unregulated & are Russian Roulette anywhere! Laser eye surgery causes permanent corneal nerve damage which can result in horrific eye and even neuropathic pain which are incurable, lens replacement ops involve, apart from other serious risks inc retinal detachment, bodge job multifocal lenses that cause severe vision distortions with many patients not able to see properly at any distance afterwards and ICL's can cause early cataracts & also reduced ECC (Endothelial Cell Count) with the latter leading to corneal transplants being needed if not caught early enough! Eyes simply haven't evolved to be messed with and ALL damaged patients are just acceptable casualties to the surgeons who perform these ops! Google campaigner Sasha Rodoy for information.
what if you blink? i've never had this so i don't know
You can’t, they place clamps to keep your eye open during

I just had my eyes done a week ago. The vacuum really is the hardest part. The surgeon had a little hiccup with my right eye. There was a little tear in the flap so he had to place a temporary contact lens over that eye but it was removed just a few days later. Everything is healed and I'm just waiting for my brain to finish recalibrating so I can see properly. 😁

Kudos to the doc for knowing how to distract and calm an anxious mind. He's no fool.
