The 27" has full 48 gbps hdmi 2.1 ports ? For the PS5. The panel its from the LG 27GP950 Nano IPS ?
Can you please explain the bit rate of these monitors? Can you run them in true 10 bit at 60Hz Or only this 8 bit plus frc mode?
Thank you for this detailed test report. 👍👍 I have one more question. Can the monitor also be switched off completely, or does it only work with the power button/stick in stand-by mode? I've read that the LED on the front of the monitor should flash quite annoyingly when the monitor is in stand-by. It would therefore be important for me to be able to switch off the monitor completely. Would be very grateful to you for an answer.

Any idea how the 27M1F5800 compares to LG 27GP950 (or GN950) when it comes to reflections and glare handling? I had the GN950 and had to return it due to how badly it handled glare even in moderately dark environment, and I suspect the 27M1F5800 might actually be using the same panel, which would mean the same issues... Thanks.

Hi, thank you for your comment, being honest I wouldn't be able to tell you as I haven't had the chance to work with LG, I will reach out to them and see if I can get one in for review.

Hey man, I really liked your detailed review. As I'm planning to buy the 4k version for work and my Xbox Series X, I was wondering how you managed to plug in an external sound device... It's probably a stupid question, but I never used sound bars, and I'm absolutely clueless :D

Hi, thank you for your kind comment, you have a couple of options, either USB connected speakers through the work machine or Xbox also with the monitor having audio out port you can connect a speaker this way to. Or you could use the USB port on the monitor too.
Literally just looking to buy the 4k version. I see you've also tested the 279M1RV. They seem almost identical. Would you say there is any noticeable difference between the two? Other than Ambiglow and integrated power supply.

Hi, thanks for your comment, I would go for the 4K version showed in this video, I prefered the colour response and gaming experince was great both consoles, however when it comes to pc gaming unsure as tried to test with Mac but that isnt designed for pc gaming.
quick question, what comes in the box, some monitors have DP or HDMI cords included or power supply. is it the same with these?

Hi ricky, thank you for this great Rewiews! 👌🏻 I would buy a monitor for my PS5.. do you prefer the Evnia 5500 QHD nano IPS or the Odyssey G7 UHD S28BG702? Thank you!

Hi, thanks for your comment, looking at specs I would be happy with either, however if had to choose I would go for the G7.
Hi Ricky, there were friends who asked in the comments, but I could not see an answer. Can you verify the bandwidth of the HDMI 2.1 ports on the monitor? Have you had a chance to use it on PS5? How was its performance? Thanks in advance...
@RickysTechTalk

Hi, both monitors have been tested with the PS5 and I didn't experience any issues. Unfortunately these are review models and unable to test the bandwidth however their website offers this information 2560 x 1440 @ 144 Hz (HDMI); 2560 x 1440 @ 240 Hz* (DP)

Hi, thanks for your comment, apologies for reply in English, the 27" or 32" is a great option for PS5 gaming. I would go 32" over 27" just because of a bigger screen is preferred, spec wise I don't believe there is a massive difference so it comes to personal choices.

@@Demetrius900000 The 27m1f5800P is really a great one. Its one of the very few monitors that actually has everything. Talking about how the monitor itself looks with the thin bezels around, not too much bezels on the panel itself. I have it on a monitor arm btw. There are a somewhat many options to find the picture quality you want, aswell colors. I play all my games on «competitive» settings: CS/PUBG/R6/BF4. I achieve stable fps way above 300 on most of these games, and i must say i feel a slowness in my surroundings when flicking around.-from my monitor. This isnt noticable when playing casually and not flicking around everywhere. Maybe it could be fixed with a firmware update?
