    Our Cap One was heavily used while we were there! Often we got better exchange rates on it than cash exchange. Just make sure to let Cap One do the exchange, not the store. Make them charge in PHP, a couple times they tried to convince us that because it was a US based card they needed to do the conversion and charge in USD. We had to explain they could charge in PHP and everything will be fine.

    Yeah, that loud electronic music is awful. I wonder the intelligence level of the people who listen to that noise pollution. Some Philippines music is indeed quite lovely. And I've listened to and have much of it. The Manila Sound of the 70's into the early 80's has some fantastic stuff if you take time to dig into it, but even after that era the OPM has some very enjoyable and pretty songs. I love Philippine songs. Some of my favorite. And many great musicians. As someone who loves music I would have to give the nod for the most amazing popular music to that Italian soundtrack jazz stuff from the 60's and 70's. Genius and fantastic. The most beautiful music you will ever hear though will come from those old Lutheran hymnals. Heavenly.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I have eclectic tastes for music and enjoy many types from around the world but cannot stand this loud electronic crap or rap. One should start a hearing aid business as millions will be deaf in a couple of years.

    How much is grass fed beef and organic chicken per kilo in Philippines now ?

  • @AmazingPhilippines1

    @AmazingPhilippines1

    Ай бұрын

    Most grass fed beef comes from New Zealand and Australia. It used to be common to see it in the coolers at S&R but now everything is generic. It has reasonable cost to other beef, but now it is found only in the freezer section and prices have gone up pretty high is my observation, over 500P/kilo and much more depending on the cut. Pork prices are up so many Filipinos are going more to chicken.

    You went through that obstacle course and ended up on a nice concrete road.. why didn't you just go around by the road? I wouldn't have went through that obstacle course when I was in my twenties for the results at the end of it😮.. I think I just told a lie because when I was in my twenties I was rough and tough and crazy and I probably would have did it while I was drinking..hehe.. I am 70 and I have learned my limitations and I will always take the easiest way and never do anything that is physically demanding.. I do not want to end up with a injury like the one you have.. I am a stage 4 cancer survivor of 20 years and I have had three major operations and the last one was 12 hours and I am not a fan of pain.. then they gave you the pain medicine and when you become immune to it you have to go through withdrawal to get off of it and that is worse than the pain.. I think I'll just do my best to stay out of pain anyway I can.. I'm always watching and I'm always enjoying👍👍👙😁🏝️🏖️😎🤗🍺🍻
