Thanks! Hehe. Well, you have a point there. But I think he enjoys his seat so I gave it a 4 hehehe. :)

They need to make more +points on the tray/meal presentation,because they don't have first class.(like eva air) maybe with more beautiful tableware,tablecloth and plates etc. They should stop using thin plastic forks/knives in eco.maybe a thicker,washable one would make it more valuable.not single use plastic And yes,this cabin is not the best.hopefully soon to be refurbished

I think these type of planes without IFEs are being used in Middle East Flights. The newer ones complete with IFEs are being used for Japan, SFO, Hawaii.

Because PAL thinks that OFWs in the middle east deserves less. lol i dont understand why they are using newly refurbished planes to shorter flights compared to the middle east which is more than 9 hours of flight. Kahit ung cebu flight nga bagong refurbish ang ginagamit. sa Middle east bulok pa din.

that guy that’s right, MidEast flights has no IFE for 9-10hrs flying time on a crowded 3-3-3 economy seats while business class 2-2-2 still no IFE and sometimes they still fly their A330 monoclass type

We have to recommend to our HR dept to issue ticket from Saudia or Gulf Air.. The only disadvantage with other arab airlines are their long transit time. Same with Cathay pacific, but at least you are properly entertain of your long flight.

Danny Arangale actually their IFE for this type of aircraft is iPad free for business class, in my case i didnt get one coz i opt to use my own laptop to watch movies, id like to sleep more than movie watching

there is IFE. On coach you should download in google play "myPAL Player" before flying and you will be connected to wifi on board. if you mean no LCD screens in front of you, there's none. bring your own ipad or tablet and use it on board. this is a misconception all the while. premium economy and business class passengers are provided with ipads. its too harsh to say that ofw's are looked down by our own flag carrier. it only means that we can afford gadgets for our personal use. also there is a usb charge slot under the seat (with green light). i use it always when i go home and back to riyadh. i guess sometimes we just have to ask.

do they not provide mattress topper for a more comfy sleep and do the FC not prep your flat bed for you? I haven't used PAL BC hence am asking but considering to try this other than Emirates BC.

is it worth flyin business class with PAL even if it's on promo??? it's not really costly on promo... just a bit high on economy class fare in other airlines... But no IFE and dining is not as extensive as others... their other aircraft seems nice but the ones used for MidEast flights seem not..

i think it is if ur only goal is to have comfortable flight on a fully flat bed, not so much about IFE since i have my own laptop to watch movies but i prefer to sleep more than watching movies. Also I fly business class to keep my Elite MabuhayMiles status. If u happen to read my verdict on the description, i compared my US bound business class flight with ME flight, big difference.

I am not humiliating PAL beside I am glad for them that they made huge improvement in their aircrafts... even they have been awarded 4-star recently by skytrax... We are not pasosyal... you just don't understand us people who are aviation lovers.... we fly oftentimes and as much as possible, we want comfortability at its best when we fly.... The question therein is "Is it worth it?" answerable by yes or no; and PE Mont said YES... no humiliation there bitch!

Their Business class fare in middle east is cheaper though the seats are smaller and no IFE. but getting a cheaper business class product is worth it. I flew from Manila to Toronto on PAL's 777 economy class. I barely use their IFE since my phone is good enough and they have free wifi.

In my experience iba po kase ang level ng service pati meals sa Middle East bound flights, unlike my US business class fight with PAL na ako na umayaw sa food kase unli at super attentive FA’s

Gabriel Dela Cruz meron po silang parating na A350 this year and A321.

Minsan makakatyempo ka ng sirang upuan ...yan ang PAL...tapos yung A350,B777 nila ang byahe well,europe at America lang naman....Sa mga tulad naming OFW,kahit man lang sa sinasakyan naming eroplano maging kampante at marelaks kahit 9 hrs lang ang byahe, okey na sa amin yun

Pagnatyempuhan nyo po sirang upuan dapat ireklamo nyo sa cabin crew nila at required silang ilipat ka sa maayos na upuan kahit business class pa ang available, if not dapat ka nilang bigyan ng voucher or miles bonus to compensate ang sirang upuan mo.

May duvet ba sila sa business class??

loreto simon andaya It really depends on when you’re going, for example, in the summer I checked on Wego that it’s around 3,000 SAR for my family of 7. If you travel in the fall or in winter it might be expensive.

The background music is annoying. Nice video, though.

Still without inflight entertainment? just look at the top of the of the roof for 10.5 hours flight to Manila..Lucio Tan getting richer by making Filipino ofw flight miserable for the next 10.5 hours of flying time inside the box.. what a descriminatory attitude. I hope they stop flying Riyadh to Manila, so we can have an option to go via Saudia or gulf air with inflight entertainment system.

Danny Arangale it is unfair that PAL only flies aircraft with IFE to countries with high tourist density than OFW-dense destination, let’s just hope that PAL rethink their policy to provide better aircraft with IFE for MiddleEast bound fights for OFW soon.

They are merely after tourist? we have high density travellers in Saudi Arabia. Theres not a single flight that seats are vacant. We have to accept the fact that PAL management belittles OFW.

Danny Arangale the high density travelers from KSA comprised of OFW (97%) not tourist, while others like Tokyo Singapore etc more tourist passengers than OFWs.

JUAN LAVEGA i can totally relate to ur sentiments, if u watch my trip report Tokyo-Manila flight u can see only 30% full, PAL could have utilized it to MidEast flights for sure itl be 100% full even if they increase price. I personally willing to pay a little higher fare as long as they fly better aircraft to ksa.

IFE have been coach class for over 10 years or more and pal don't that in business class not good charge business class ticket for second rate service come on pal fix it give the paying public what they deserve

Wait.. WHAT? no in flight entertainment?! WOW!!! what a waste of business class experience.... s mga kapwa ko ofw wag kau mag PAL kun ganyan din ln, hindi biro an 10 hrs at matutulog ln kau, tapos bahala ka na ientertain srli mo, the whole 2 years of work mo s middle east I'm sure ganun na gingawa mo e, pasayahin an sarili... minsan lang tayo sumakay ng eroplano, irequest nyo s company nyo na ibook kau sa cathay , emirates or gulf air.
