There are sticky questions that seemed to have been ignored in this entire episode and that is, the charges brought against Shaibu, at what time were they established was it after he had sued the Governor the first time for proposed impeachment or after Shaibu had withdrawn the the case from court? Both the Governor and the House of assembly denied any knowledge of a plan to impeach the deputy governor and based on the attitude of the Governor towards his deputy and subsequent action to move the deputy governors office away from the government house, and the eventual impeachment that just took place are these not evidence that the deputy governor was right the first time? Perhaps if he was not talked out of withdrawing the case from court, he probably during the court proceeding would have presented evidence leading to his suing the Governor. The guest cited how many deputy governors have been impeached across the country by other governors and houses of assembly which support the suspicion that Shaibu might have had. Either way each impeachment cited were processed differently and for different reasons, therefore to assume that Shaibu's case in court would be the same is simply an assumption with no facts. With regards to whether or not the Deputy Governor will be welcome in APC is never going to be the decision of the guest. When Shaibu and Obaseki joined the PDP, the followers followed them an Nigerian politicians being what they are they go from one party to the other without shame. If Shaibu leave the PDP he will leave with his core supporters, therefore Shaibu himself will not be the targeted gain. The major players in the Nigerian politics are known to be shuttling from one party to the other, therefore it not advisable for the guest to make blunt statement such as Shaibu has no space in APC. If an when he thinks of going back to the APC is acceptance and rejection will be based on the circumstances. He will not be coming to APC as the candidate for the party. Ize Iyamu left the APC to join the PDP and came back to APC, so why is Shaibu's situation be looked at differently?
