I have been in love with Philip Glass's music since the 1970's, listening in his loft and at BAM. It is some of the most beautiful music I have ever experienced. It touches all one's emotions.

Philip glass gave the modern audience what they want, which is consistent volume and tempo suitable for intimate sounds between earphones or closed spaces, and hidden melody that can be singed along, it is an adaptation when musicians can no longer confine their audiences in one venue and have their inescapable attention.

Isolated and masklainated from loved ones I am increasingly drawn to Gorecki or Glass whose music seems to sublimely convey mankinds' emerging existential condition. Beneath the tragedy lies beauty and power and hope.

I've never heard these pieces before though I love Glass. The first etude of the video (number 11) reminds me in places of 'Another Day of Sun' from La La Land, I wonder if Justin Hurwitz was inspired by Glass.

A friend told me to listen to this. Have not heard Glass for ages. I still liked it when he wrote the music for Koyaanisqatsi in 1982 but this is so repetitive and almost no colouration of tone. Got bored, sorry. I am more Liszt guy. Hard to compare with others. I am sure others do not like Liszt. Eventually all is a matter of personal taste.
