I been sober off meth & heroin since mid 2017 I feel normal to a degree but not really especially heroin it took away a chunk of my soul I will never get back. To this day I have a hate love relationship with vinegar because I love the taste of it in my salads but that smell oh the smell makes me immediantly nasuas along with giving a weird headache of sort and then their is the smell of burnt metal thay reminds me of meth so that smell brings back that weird gulp in my throat former meth users know what I am speaking on in regards to thay gulp.. I have issues with my lungs big time and mild issues with my heart but mostly with my lungs but hey I take having these issues any day because I am alive & kicking ass after having survived a few over doses and I won't mention the amount of drugs I was using per day throughout the day because I will leave it at this even my family & closest friends are shocked to see me alive because the amount I was doing should've put me six feet under but somehow by the grace of whatever I am still breathing despite having long term health issue's...

I admire anyone that overcomes addiction. It is a very tough battle that some lose, but Phil was determined not to let it rule his life. So far he is the best spokesperson on addiction because everything he says about it comes from his heart. That is what a spokesperson for any kind of addiction should be. I enjoyed part 1 and this one part 2 alot. You guys should definitely do a part 3 because Phil is that entertaining and a phenomenal storyteller.

When I graduated from high school I wanted to be a junkie because I felt like the world sucked. It's inspiring hearing awesome guys like Phil saying to stay off of em, even then we never listen you have to wanna do it for yourself. Whenever I wanna get really fucked up now I think of guys like Phil, layne staley, Kurt, and others that have come off like Randy Blythe, Chris Cornell, Corey Taylor Alexi laiho, Ozzy and James hayfield and so many others and I think to myself, they wouldn't want me to do that, and it fucking helps a lot. This fucking music they call rock n roll is like the best medicine you could ever take and I wanna be healthy and enjoy it for a long time!

802blues +Noora Youssef Khalil We can do it, we can all get off the drugs, just think about all of the awesome things you can buy with the money on other things that will actually make you healthy or happy. I don't have serious back pain or anything like that I'm just a dumbass, but I think it's good to do your own research on how to make yourself better and spend your money on those options and you will see your life improve alot. I know I had a very serious problem that no doctors were really helping me with so I took it upon myself to educate myself and now about three months later I'm feeling better than ever after suffering from sickness for about almost 2 years so I know you guys can do it. Don't be afraid to be lonely and don't be afraid to go through the pain because after time if you really start taking care of yourself you will feel better. As far as the weening down I think you should try to go cold turkey for as long as you can and then only ween down when you feel like you need to and then go cold turkey again and repeat and so on until you feel like you don't need it anymore but that's just my advice I have no idea what that's like.Good luck y'all and rock on. We can make our lives better, I know we can, don't give up.

Great voice....always seemed to me he was a a basic hard-working street kid who made it. Down to earth, but soaring because he proved them wrong

I totally feel him about coming off of methadone. One of the hardest times of my life. I was fully clean for a while but I've been on Suboxone for the last few years. Seeing people like him, clean off this shit, it's nice
