Exactly right. Rory has not learned sportsmanship in losing. Needs a lesson from Nicklaus, Tom Watson, and Player. Look at the example those greats of the game set and examine how many times they fell just short of winning. Rory will never ve a true great.

Agree 1000%. He is not obligated BUT it’s the right thing to do especially since he was playing in the group in front. He literally knew Bryson was coming into the room and made a mad dash. For someone that prides himself of being a stand up guy Rory let himself and everyone down here. He should have shook Bryson’s hand and given the media 5 minutes that’s it. I can get past the media but not congratulating the winner is poor sportsmanship. If you argue this either you don’t understand the game of golf or you are not a good sportsman yourself. Or BOTH. I like Phil but I dont think he could even make it on Champions Tour now. His game is really bad. Not sure why. Even the no-names on LIV are mopping the floor with him. Even Anthony Kim is hanging with him.

Phil has always had his and downs. Still He would be in the Shwab cup talk every season for the next 10 years if he was in the Champions tour.
