Even though we laugh at him, but I feel so sorry for him. He had the potential to be one the best defenders in the world. He was one of the last true defenders after 2010s who were no ball playing one but defend at any cost. But sadly injuries, lack of confidence due to harsh criticism and lack of game time truly and problem to fit in a ball playing role robbed the potential of Phil Jones. And it's not a Joke this time.

This video deserves more views and likes. Phil Jones isn't just a defender, he is also a striker :))

It's so wonderful that this great man has decided to stay at Manchester United for so many years despite never playing just to pass on his wisdom to others, like the simply astounding Harry Maguire. Now dedicating his life to his teammates because there's nothing more for him to accomplish in the game. Many credit the inspirational leadership of Rangnick for last season's spectacular top 6 finish but don't underestimate the work done by Jones behind the scenes. A phenomenal player but more importantly a truly phenomenal human being. Thank you, Phil. Thank you.
