Foden got stick from neutrals against Arsenal. Shut a few up with a wonderful display against Villa. Also, neutrals say City is classless because some booed Sterling. Yesterday, Villa fans were booing Jack Grealish, so are they the same!!!!

Yeah but as a blue I wasn’t a fan of the booing Sterling or Jesus recently. I turned around and informed the blokes booing Sterling behind me, in the ground, that he scored nearly 100 goals for us.

Massive result! Finally a win against a top 5 club. Grealish & Doku both played well. Ortega made some big saves. I've run out of words to describe Rodri's brilliance. Ortega is such revelation. He is a very reliable shot stopper.

I like the contrast when we have Grealish on the left and Doku on the right. Jack is good at drawing the defence to him, bringing players into the attack, holding it up and waiting for the right moments. Doku is a wildcard - unpredictable, exciting, can go past people, never know if he's going to produce or not.

Aston Villa's braveness yesterday isn't spoken about enough, went to Etihad and took the game to City even though they lost 4-1, they upheld the standard of football in this country and entertained the neutrals while at it.

If possible, I would keep Haaland and KDB on the bench and only bring them on if needed. We have enough quality to beat Palace still, and we need razor-sharp full energy and focus in the first leg next Tuesday night. Last night was mega important, I feel the city will win every remaining game this season, hope it will be enough.

I think the timing of the documentary release was inspired. It was obviously arranged beforehand, but what better timing! Definitely gave the lads a huge boost & inspiration

Good result and still in a great position in the league. Not saying dropping Haaland (& kdb) should be permanent but i think we give teams more problems with the false 9. They can set up and defend with haaland, alvarez movement draws players out. Doku's best game for a while. Rodri is imense. Foden was great and shout out to ortega. Best sub keeper in the league?

​@@Kisyfurralvarez has plateaued a bit this season. Especially after a very good first season. But I think that's been down to trying to fit him into the team out of position. Haaland misses a lot of chances, he did last season too but he still scored loads of them. He's still got a healthy return but it seems that in a game where he may only get one or two big chances he isn't taking them. Which can be 6 or 7 points difference. We have been a bit flat overall especially compared to last season. But we're still on for a potential treble which is pretty remarkable.

@@Kisyfurr indeed, a bad season now is a top four finish. A par season is top 3 and a trophy. I remember days of the junior blues at the old social club at maine road. I was excited just to get to a potential semi final at Wembley. So to witness what we have is beyond my wildest dreams. For me I think 2010-2020 will be my favourite team. Aguero, silva, kompany, yaya, zaba etc. But obviously footballers have a relatively short career and we move on. Come on you blue boys.

If we didn't have Madrid next week, I would play the same team. However, Haaland and KDB have to be match fit for the Bernabeu and they won't be if they don't play at all for a week and a half. The compromise might be that KDB and Erling should play at least 40 minutes at Palace, but even that may not be enough. My overview of this is that the CL is the most important given that we have been PL winners in 5 out of 6 seasons but we have only won the CL once. So to keep us at the very top of the european tree, we need to concentrate more on that one.

Thought Foden was brilliant in the centre, leaves us with a problem - we need to get De Bruyne in the team - what do we do? Maybe we have to get used to different teams for different opposition, rather than always trying to work out what our best team is. Rodri was magnificent - the ball to Foden for the third goal was simple, but the vision to see it was magnificent. Surprised they did not interview you on the Together series Steve - would have made the series even better. Rob (aka Ken)

Pep needs to figure out a way to get BOTH Foden and KDB in the middle. Up front, Grealish, Haaland, Doku (on the right). Rodri as per, with Stonesy coming into midfield from the back. Then the back 3 of Akanji, Dias and Gvardiol. Think thats our best lineup moving forward. If more control is needed, could always bring in Bernardo and Kova… Anyways loved the fluidity against Villa, need to figure that out with KDB and Haaland in the side. Have to keep winning! Pedal to the metal, could also do with increasing that Goal difference. Who know if it might come down to that. Up the blues! And Big Ups to Big Steve! 💙

I thought we still looked vulnerable on the break. Ortega the better choice keeper whilst it's like this. Alvarez not the answer but Phil needs to take priority over kev ATM. Jack gives us control but he does need to act slightly quicker. Very nervy end to the season but we can do it all

Yeah. I'd be tempted to bench him again. He clearly needs the rest after his performance at Arsenal & Foden should definitely keep his place. Plus, Kdb won't like it, so it'll make him angry for Madrid 😂

@Rk_4562 No I'm not. Foden was anonymous against against Arsenal, that's why he was subbed off. But Kdb had to stay on against Arsenal because they're a great team, but he was struggling. I'd rather we make sure he's fighting fit after Palace, when he's needed most. But it's just my opinion
