I've listened to this 50 times over the years...never gets old!
Groundbreaking album! Some of the best music of the 20th century.
Brilliant. Not sure why but I get visuals of Piet Mondrian abstract art when listening to this.
Davis had written simple chord lines, at first for three pianos, which he expanded into a sketch of a larger scale composition. He presented the group with some "musical sketches" and told them they could play anything that came to mind as long as they play off of his chosen chord.

@@Frisbieinsteinmiles did this many times, for his own songs
One of the greatest jazz albums of all time. you never hear people talk about miles. he's been overlooked and underrated.
Just love this period from " In a Silent Way" to "Jack Johnson," "Big Fun" , "On the Corner". His greatest music in my book.!
I thought I had 'Miles' already til I heard this when it came out... never gets old.
50+ years later and still ahead of it's time
Transformation of jazz music at its best! This here is a masterpiece! Go Miles

Jazz, Simplesmente Magnifico
Cut never sags. MD is an Egyptian God.
This track feels like a late 60s auditory acid trip
D A DOUBLE DOLLA
I'm confused as to why this was only just uploaded to this channel.

I don't like that bass clarinet very much, too squeaky.
