This opener is just pure amazing. I loved this show and it reminds me of 2011 phantom and I enjoy that. I want this corp to succeed so bad because the Phantom we had in 2008-2011 was just bone chilling and emotional and I want that back. I loved this show, great job Phantom for a great season!!

Amazing how how much marching a Corp can accomplish without a Broadway set in the middle of the field.

i marched with the Spartans this year, and hearing our corps song(fire of eternal glory) made me cry watching finals live.

First off my favorite corps has always been phantom regiment. But for some reason, 2016-present just hasn’t been the same corps that I used to love. I feel like the identity has gone missing. They are good don’t get me wrong....but there is something missing. If you watch this performance then watch 2010 or 2011 or 2006 or any mid 2000’s to early 2010-2013, it’s just.....different. And I miss that.

Been a hardcore Phan for many years and always loved their shows. But.. The recent decade shows (for DCI in general) have all been getting more and more artistically showy and less "Corp" and music style. Bringing in all the additional elements mean there are so many more places to make mistakes. Some of the details in this show are a little rough at times. Squads are not tight. Lines off. A couple of scatter runs are fine but half the show is loose pairs or squads randomly running around and trying to stay together. Formations get really loose in several places and the color guard seems to be doing the wave. Compare with Santa Clara's show which is actually very similar but their formations are very tight and controlled. Color guard is insanely well coordinated. The overall effect is dramatically different. The Regiments scores have been steadily dropping for the past several years for whatever reason. I'm still a supporter but come on something's gotta change. Hopefully the new staff for 2020 will get things turned around.

DCI really went down the tubes when it turned into WGI on a football fields. All the props, theatrics, electronics, etc.

And the mandarins scores higher?
