Using the impact makes sense also because 1. It cannot 1 hit (unless under 76hp), 2. with almost any weapon 1 shotting after being it hit, it replicates the feeling of getting a jarate crit.

I'd recommend using the R700 with a Sidewinder ED instead of the TRG. The Sniper Rifle from TF2 is loosely based on it. An Oil Filter could also mimic the Cleaner's Carbine's firing speed penalty and also TF2's wacky proportions. The Diopter Sight is also a better option than 1200m, it's from the MP5 instead of the HK21/MSG90. :D

gee, 5000 kills for a scope while a similar enough sniper unlocks the scope immediately. If I were to grind the fuck out of the Remington 700 then I might agree with you

@@limabeanzzzz I mean fair point, playing with the Remington is like watching wet paint dry. However this series is trying to be as accurate to the games as possible. It's debatable.

Well, the difference be in that ones a job, the others a mental sickness

I also used a Sniper themed loadout but it was completely different. As a primary I used PPSH with 35rd stick mags and as a secondary I used Obrez with Obrez Barrel, Obrez Stock and SIDEWINDER scope

For those who complain the 1200m sights are too narrow and small. There is another H&K family set of Iron sights exists, it's called the Diopter sights. It's a wide V notch sight that works better for if you want to ADS (Though if you're running a TF2 loadout I don't think you're gonna be using ADS for the secondary.) Absolutely right. I was going to comment something similar, but you beat me to it. If I remember right, the Diopter sights are from the MP5 family, where as the 1200m sights are from the MSG90. I think the G3 and AG3 use the Diopter sights.

@@beanman_2492 Yep, I think the 1200M sights are only native to the MSG 90, I'm not aware of any other gun that used it. Aand the diopter sights are used on mjst about anything that vaugely looks like an MP5

@@jamesmijares6366 yeah you’re got a good point. I’ think it’s probably any HK that is based on the G3, which includes stuff like the HK21, MP5, and any variants of those guns. If I remember right, the reason the MSG90 has different irons is because they are more precise at long range in real life.

usin the remington 700 is probally a better option,, not just because its 20x better than the trg, but also because the tf2 sniper is a remington 700 with a internal magazine of ONE (or, at least, sniper only loads one bullet per shot, unlike shown in game, its revealed in Meet the Sniper)

I’ve found that if you put: FF 3X NV Light Barrel None None None On the Remington 700 with a Wood Skin, you can get pretty close to the TF2 Sniper, i guess this is an alternate version incase you don’t like the TRG-42 for some reason

or incase you're low level, or incase you like to be lore accurate (tf2 sniper is a remington 700)

Late to the party but I personally prefer the scorpion with long barrel and 9mm for my SMG for the full stock loadout. Sure you can't put the irons on it but it looks like you just cut them in half (for some unholy reason).
