MAN This needs more attention, honestly the best remix of Dark Force’s theme I’ve heard so far

Best final boss theme (and maybe any boss theme) of the entire tetralogy, unlike the rest of the soundtrack.

Absolutely sick remix. Breathes new life into a classic and overlooked theme.

i just beat this game yesterday and so the theme is fresh in my head... this is astounding! well done :-)

This sent chills down my skin the moment the remixed bits start ramping up. To me, Sega was the king of video game music in that era. Not discrediting Nintendo, there's a lot of great music but I think Sega had a knack for making you feel the intensity in moments like this with that gritty metal sound of the Yamaha sound chip. Even in its original version, the theme has a heavy tone of dread, fear, and insurmountable odds. The intricacy of this remix just kicked it into overdrive for me.

Hell yeah, great work.

Phantasy Star III, definitely the series' lowpoint but nobody can deny; Dark Foce's Design and Battle Theme are Badass!

I agree, but I love III regardless. I liked how they got a little more serious in graphics after II. IV remains the best out of them

I can’t be the only one that thinks the majority of phantasy star 3’s soundtrack is garbage....yes there are some hits but a lot of misses

I agree. I'd like to get a story considering she also composed PSIV's music as well. Huge difference.

Agreed. Opening theme (and Laya's world variant of it), Wren's theme, Overworld theme (with at least 3 party members) and this are the only good songs!

Composition is mostly real good, it's the instrumentation that lacks...PSIV had the best instrumentation!
