The Orbit video was an exhibition in the Natural History Museum in London last year. It was projected onto a large screen in a big dark room where everyone could lounge around chill. It was such an incredible experience!
3 years ago i met someone and we had a very special moment together, we ended up next to the river watching to stars for hours and i played a gentle guitar. a couple days later i found this song and it sounds like the mastered version of what i've played. once again phaeleh, your music hits me!

Your music takes me to good places
Mindblowing
Phaeleh's beautiful penetrating melodies. He stays on point and keeps us wanting more of these haunting melodies that sounds so exquisite. Genius stuff here
The final scene from "Orbit" brought me to you. Oh my god, this is so refreshing, like being given a second chance.

pretty ✨
simple yet so complex. this piece is just an absolute masterpiece. i’ve been listening to it for about 2 years and it hasn’t gotten one bit stale.
It's amazing how a new(er) song can transport you back in time to an old memory - but in this case, it's reframing an old memory of a bittersweet (mostly sad) moment in my life to one of potential hope that new & better memories could be created in that space. Positively moving on... ⏳🌬 Thank you, Phaeleh, for sharing your gift with us! Been a fan for a long time. 💙
omg, absolutely stunning ❤️
I love that soft little doorbell ring.

Heard this on SBS Chill (a digital radio station in Australia) and got lost in the simplicity of the guitar and beauty of the sound. Wonderful meditation to start my day. Thank you.

This moved me to tears. It took me somewhere I can only go in dreams. I ended up recording myself singing some lyrics I wrote over it and it became a meditative song.

Me too. For some reason it put me in mind of a friend that I lost last year and I was in floods of tears in no time. But good ones. The optimistic sound of this music gave me the feeling that she is now in a better place but also reminded me of what we have lost. It’s one of those rare tracks that just seems to get right inside of you.

The cello really makes this piece so beautiful. As well as the ambience... So amazing. So underappreciated. Your music transcends genres man. Thank you for this.

So beautiful Phaeleh, and however it's not 'cloying' or easily sentimental, which is a very commom mistake. Keep working so good man, I love your indian - exotic samples and songs (indian flute, sitar...). Very special and sacred stuff man. Congratulations.

Love you man , I listen to you every day ❤ everyone I introduce your music to loves it especially my two little girls aged 4 and 5 they drift away to it ... Isabella once said she feels sad but wanted to be left alone in the back of the car because the music and notes were just so mesmerising. Now I only see them every two weeks but take them on coastal walks and wild camp with a fire 🔥 we love your work forever ,my 2 young girls love it and tell me to be quiet when it's on ♥️
Cathartic. Impeccable. Flawless arrangement. This is what happens when you put your soul into your music....moderat has a song called therapy...no...this is therapy...I mean proper therapy, like rebt n shit....

Radio SBS Chill Australia
If you and b-complex collaborated that would be epic
What instruments were used to create this? Absolute genius piece by the way.
@phaeleh
6 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It's 90% classical guitar. The drones/pads/end melodies are all electric guitar. There's a sine wave sub bass and cello just following the progression quite quiet in the mix and a shaker. Think that's about it, but it's mostly all guitar.

I was thinking of making a gutiar only version of this, but after this comment, I wouldn't dare...plus it's perfect the way it is....but I'm definitely gonna steal a part of this arrangement and make something of my own....sry, I gotta do it, like I did with tides...I just gotta....who knows what else I've come up with that's been inspired by your music...there's a few songs of yours I often listen to on repeat and there's definitely some cryptomnesia....I mean it's just in the same key, or whatevere...I can't read music, but you know what I mean...
Is there any way I could use this song as a backing track to vocals and lyrics I created to go with it? It seems so perfect for it.

I'm fine with people messing with the tunes for non commercial stuff like social media or youtube etc. When people are looking to use the music for officially released tracks then they'd have to licence it through a publisher. Hope that helps!
Great music!! Are there any tabs for it?
@phaeleh
4 жыл бұрын
Whilst I've made some tabs for the older tunes I don't think anyone asked for this one, so I didn't think to do so. If I get a chance I'll try to do one, it's fairly simple and loopy, it's just the main melody that has the odd variation where I forgot what I was playing whilst I was recording it!

Sounds Alittle depressing, maybe the artists are depressed and it's reflecting in their music? Or maybe lately

@@phaeleh Thanks for the reply! It's so frustrating when you want to know why something sounds familiar, but you can't figure it out, even if it's a false memory Amazing song by the way! I like this: especially in the context of a video showing an orbit around our planet - it's the last music and fades as the sun sets between the outer surfaces of our atmosphere and the planet: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aX-Mqbx6dbrgnpM.html
