The sliverless Sliver deck is just a way to try and abuse the Historic Brawl matchmaking. Its people that want to play a 5-Color good stuff deck, but without using one of the super strong commanders like Golos or Esika, that way they can play a strong 5 color deck while also being matched agaisnt weaker commanders.

I have been playing Magic for 8 years but never once played Commander. Just made a Glissa deck on MTG Arena, and it's so much fun. Thank you for the decklist and strats for it

I started historic brawl a few weeks ago to play some torbrand. I play for free so limited options. Just like you i came across the same few decks all the time. When i discovered i could open up to 70 packs just off free codes i just went full ham with Purphoros. Gotta say it feels good slapping around those 4-5 color decks with mono red 😂 great video man, you dont need to say sorry for what your oppents are playing, its just fun seeing you crush them 👍🏻

Hell yeah, actually having a lot of fun. When some way over tuned Atraxa is being Cocky, swings in full and is out tapped. Activate Purph 2x and hit for 40. Oh the lols 😂

I've been loving Glissa. The first strike & deathtouch combo is brutal, as it lets you really push damage through. When the Phyrexian is a trampler like Vorinclex it gets especially brutal, and I've had a number of wins due to people not knowing how that works (assign 1 damage to each blocker, the rest goes through). There are some good toxic phyrexians as well, so I've got that as a bit of a subtheme that gets the occasional victory

Yeah trample and deathtouch is incredible. Especially if the opponent has an indestructible blocker because it ridicules them 🤣

everyone playing "good" decks instead of "fun" decks is mostly due to Wizard's toxic monetization of the platform. If you're prepared to spend money for a full collection, sure go ahead and play every fun deck you like in a never ending variety. When I spend all my wildcards on one deck, if it's for fun but doesn't win very often that then slows down unlocking more cards. It's a lose-lose.
