Welcome back! today i’m going to be PH testing some of the hair products i use on my type 4 natural curly hair! I love acidic hair products to seal my high porosity hair cuticle and retain moisture better so this was definitely interesting to see!

I haven’t tried the JAdore yet but i bought the ACV shampoo and conditioner, i have a sew in right now and i want to make sure my braided hair and scalp are properly maintained. I plan to use their shampoo and treatment on my loose hair when my sew in is out.

@@naturalnadinee how do you use ACV when you use the LPP Treatment on a wash day? Or are they totally separate washes?

@@naturalnadinee finding products for our curls is easier now because we can buy products from the US.. during covid we couldn't buy anything on Amazon but I'm sooo glad that didn't last too long.. buying local hair products is a bit difficult because of the language barrier so its just easier to buy online 😊
I have to get myself some test stripes. I need to test my products because I have inflammation, and I am allergic to almost everything that touches my skin.

They were really good! But a prove would be much better tbh to get the accurate PH

So what PH should gentle/ regular use shampoos be for high porosity hair?

My go to shampoos now are PH 5.5 xx
