Grading is subjective. In both cases, each book was only one grade off between to the two companies. The knock on PGX is typically they overgrade by a significant amount, but that does not seem to be the case here.
I wish there were more grading companies with the wealth of knowledge of comics out there I think it would be great.
I have bought PGX and always got a higher CGC, just goes to show that PGX books are a deal
Baffles me people still use pgx to this day

😂its the cheapest of them all so not really surprise, there are people than don't care to flip their books just encapsulation to collect

@@Pedro-lg9wz there are non grading options for encapsulating. Gator guard is a great alternative and super cheap compared to any grading company.

@@stacked_shortbox And IMHO, comics look better on the wall when they're not slabbed. I use CGC to guarantee my investment, which to me is the only reason to slab a book.

Did you submit the slabs for crossover or crack yourself and submit raw? 🤔

@@fbfan77 personally wouldn’t do that. Crack myself and press and clean depending on the book.
You could go with any grading company but if your planning on selling I would say your best bet is cgc

How much a Marvel Quarterly Report "books" are going for these days?
Watched a few people who send to pgx. Seems the common consensus to them, is that they grade tougher than cgc. But I dunno,
what do they call that wood looking backdrop that you set the books on?
