If income is already taxable, then is it mandatory to fill "Form 15G"? Will settlement claim fail if "Form 15G " is not uploaded? Also will the new Employer be able to create a new PF account if PF Amount from Old PF Account is not withdrawn (provided Date of Entry & Date of Exit are already mentioned in Old PF Account)?

if your pf amount is above 50k and service is less than 5 years then while processing the claim it'll ask for tax deduction,to avoid the deduction employees are directed to upload 15G while applying form 19.

Sir, I have total 6.5 years of service with 2 employers. I already transferred PF balance from previous employer to present employer and I can see the previous balance and present balance on my PF passbook. Its been 2 years since I have resigned and currently I am unemployed. I applied for PF withdrawal claim on 2nd August 2023 and my claim got rejected for below reason: 1) without adding eps service transfer in came after adding eps service apply claim 2) WAITING PERIOD OF 2 MONTHS NOT COMPLETED could you please let me know where I am going wrong and what correct process I need to follow to get mt claim settled?

Pf withdrawal claim process can take anywhere between 3 days to 21 days. You can raise grievance if it's taking more than 30 days time to settle.

As per my experience, aadhar and PAN must be updated. You should visit regional PF office if it's not updated. Form 15G not required if pf withdrawal balance is less than 50K.

Sir, please help reply my two queries: 1. Does EPFO pay interest on the whole amount even if someone has not claimed PF amount three years after leaving the job ? 2. Should we wait to submit the claim until interest amount is reflected in the EPFO passbook, OR Can we claim the Interest amount separately later. Because interest is not paid on 31st March. It reflects in the member passbook after 3-4 months ?

EPFO will pay interest for few months after the last contribution after that there will be on interest credit. You should wait for interest credit and then apply for full and final pf

I followed the same steps as mentioned and my claim was rejected. The reason given was - "FORM 15G/15H, PAN Card not submitted by Member". However, in my KYC, I have updated all my details and its been marked as verified with a green tick mark. And while uploading the documents, I have submitted form-15G as per your instructions in other video. Please let me know what went wrong in my case.

@@bhagyashreehooli4319 I visited the PF office recently. They explained that my last employer screwed up big time. He did this mistake for 4k-5k employees. The mistake the employer did was showing employees on their host country payroll when they were working abroad and paying taxes abroad. The rule says that the employer cannot show an employee as their host country employee if he/she is working abroad and paying taxes abroad. It’s called NCP days and it applicable when employee is on long term sick leave or taken LWP (leave without pay), then only it can be shown as NCP days and these are applicable.
