Agree! Very nice, but there is nothing wrong with the other one. Btw. Gentelman you are not, obviously.

As someone who’s just got a 308 (a week ago) I highly recommend them as a great all round car. Lots of space, very comfy and excellent value for the money! And even more fun if you get the GTI!

the new 2018 GT has a 1.6l 222 Bhp engine replacing the 202bhp... and a new 8speed automatic gearbox,

The chassis PSA in a vauxhall will be very good. Imagine a new vauxhall astra GTI with PSA chassis !

It’s a shame I didn’t see no CD player mentioned , would have been nice if it had some manual buttons to control the a/c,

Found this a bit impromptu when it came to some of the interior info. Got it completely wrong by saying it was a decent size glovebox when you cant actually fit the car's manual in there.

Peugeots are made in a way that encourages if not downright forces you to set your seat up high if you want to have the best driving position (having the seat high , also protects you more in the case of a side impact + you have better visibility), and once you get used to it you can see the benefits. There are many people that are used to a low seat position and think that it lowers the center of gravity enough to improve driving characteristics, that might have been true when cars weighted under 900 kg , and didn't have very advanced suspension but now I would say the effect is negligible and It's worth more to have better visibility. As someone who owned a Peugeot I can say I miss the high seating position I could set in the Peugeot without being uncomfortable

I'm 2m tall and I have to put the seat in the lowest position. If I don't I either hit my head in the ceiling or my legs don't fit under the steering wheel. Of course I usually set the steering wheel in the highest available position

I'd wait for the next (3rd) generation of this...if the new 3008,5008 and 508 are anything to go by it will be worth it! (This does look decent though)

The basic model shines in the moose test with Porsche like speed at 82 km/h! Best chassis always in PUGs!

What a bs. Car has a comfort of wheelbarrow, and rear suspension is so messed up the car jumps around like a ping pong ball

That screen might be 9.5", but usable screen appears to be 6" with the rest border and control icons.

My favourite car ever.

I like the new car reviewer , Chloe. She is likable , speaks nice and she doesn't make the review boring like some other car reviewers do

I think you are mistaken. Actually, 308's build quality is better than that of golf.

Thank goodness for no exaggerated way of speaking.

Peugeot have never had nice gear selection a bit more agricultural but are actually pretty robust. So it’s definitely forgivable.

*gaaasp* love the design of the car but giving it a new bumper and some shiny metal in the grill isnt much of a facelift... but better than volkswagen tho, they would say this is a brand spanking new model.

I own a 2019 Peugeot 308 Tech Edition and have owned other Peugeots previously. I love my car apart from one niggle I would prefer to have the Cruise / Speed limiter on a stalk similar to a golf or maybe a third stalk and not hidden away on what is already a low steering wheel set-up. Also the fuel consumption in poor at town speeds.

My corsa has stiff suspension..... because of rust and wear n tear lol

The main problem with Peugeot's is not the car itself but the owners!

Storage in the glove compartment is a joke, they couldn't even be bothered to move the fuse box for the UK right hand drive cars. No hooks in the boot for shopping bags .......................... I could go on and on

70.6 mpg from a petrol! That's insane. Granted nobody will get near that but even if you get high 50s to 60 mpg - I see no reason why anyone would buy the diesel in this instance. Why offer 4 diesels? We're starting the move away from diesel now in the uk.

Average size glovebox my a***... the sat nav will probably think your 25 mile east of where you are.. start stop wont work and the air con will break in the summer and all in less than 3 years old. 🍋 (had such promise though)

Stealth Uk what complete nonsense, I have the 2014 original mkll version and its never skipped a beat. top notch. ahead of the focus, astra, golf and i30 for reliability too in driver power survey.

She sounds very american.

Tiny steering wheel, good boot/trunk, but no rear legroom. Poor gearing and poor ride. Back to the crap, from Peugeot!.......... If I was given one, I'd have to borrow Clarkson's hammer to cut my passengers' legs off! I'm 6 inches taller than Chloe, 6 inches or so, less rear legroom!

computerbob06 what utter drivel, the ride is among the best in its class. the fact you referenced Clarkson says it all really.

She sounds so scripted and you can tell a car such as a Peugeot of any calibre wouldn't be good enough for her.
