I would like to thank you for saving £1100 on fitting a new EGR valve to my daughter’s car wrongly diagnosed from a garage. I managed to drill a very small hole into the shaft and fit a split pin. I think it’s a ball socket joint made of plastic that gets weak and pops off through engine starting/vibration. Your video was excellent as they all are, regards Rob.

I actually hate French but I gotta give it to peugeot solid HDI engine horrible auto gearbox :( but overall its not terrible it gets the Job done

Anyone know what the weird noise is on the 1.5 hdi, some say water pump I only noticed after adblue update. More evident on idle but is always there, Could adblue injector be blocked?

If th3 mixer is leaking oil, is that a bad pcv or turbo in this case?

That engine bay was quite good for having space to get at things. The plasticky construction of the part you replaced was disappointing. Penny pinching from Peugeot resulting in unreliability.

That plastic part lasted 126k with probably minimal maintenance and possibly a heavy handed mechanic, no doubt now it will do another 126k no problem
