So do I. Anyway this mercedes has for sure a really big or powerfull engine, 180 hp on 1100 kg is not a standard thing, I guess over 230 hp, someone knows this new mercedes engines?

Car looks mint, especially for a 15+ year old car. Props to Lewis for that. Also the mods are done tastefully and has an oem look which I love. Well done! Not a peugeot fan can really appreciate things like this (love the headliner too!).

I love the RC, it's a fun little car. Had one back in the day. Same color, same model year. Sometimes I still think about it and wish I hadn't sold it.

@@dickdickson2581 My uncle drives one and let me deive it once and i have to disagree. The interiors not only felt really solid but also looked amazing. Even a bit to fancy for a 130ps car 😅. Had some serious Lambo influences.

Love the 206 RC, I have one my self, that I picked up in France in 2009, and still have it. It has done 98.000 km now and I am not thinking about selling it, love it as a daily driver.

Love the wheels, really like the fact he painted the calipers silver instead of the regular red/yellow every "tuner" has. Clean car, great drive and timeless design. Really like it.

The 206 shocked me when it was introduced...it's the best looking B-segment ever to me. The ad was amazing too, with the guy crashing and hitting his old car to make it look like the Peugeot. I disagree about the wheels: I loooved the stock ones! 😍

I've owned my 206RC for about 2 years. Imported one to Canada as soon as I could afford it! Love it, love it love it. Nothing like it over here, we never get fun hatchbacks.

Probably the only French car in Canada lol, how did the car even meet the Canadian regulations ?

I would also have mentioned the hydraulic power steering of the Peugeot 206 that gives that extra "fun" or "pleasure" when you drive it fast in corners. It is connected to the road and you can feel what happens down there. I believe the Clio has an electric power steering which reduces the fun I guess.

The 206 is one of the most succesfull models ever made. After all those years, still looks nice and relevant, who agrees? I drove a 206 1.6 16V and a 2.0 GTI. Nice nippy cars and a lot of value for money.

yes i agree, i drove an peugeot 206 XSi 1.6 16V 110HP with a remus exhaust on it. loved it and had it for many years, not super reliable, it always had some things here and there, but always nothing major and never let me down.

@@coletrickIe yes i know, it never had anything major, but always had small things to fix here and there, it where always electronical issues, nothing engine wise wich where reliable

The Peugeot 206 RC is one of my favorite cars, dude its a 2.0l and have enough HP and NM, that rpm yo that kicks in, lovely sound everything is so nice 💙🤌🏻

My uncle used to have a Peugeot 206 4dr just like this one. Everyone in the family hated it for not being an "VW". But I just couldn't love more when riding in it, such tiny car packed with a lot of power. A classic hatchback that we will never have again.

Cool looking RC! I've still got my 206 GT looming around on my driveway, don't drive it as often anymore as I now drive a '13 ST180.. But when I do drive it, it's always great fun ripping it around corners and bends, the drive is phenomenal.

I love Peugeot 206, its one of most beautiful car for me.

The 206 RC and the Clio 172 are truly great hot hatches and make perfect daily drivers, even today. Still modern enough and quite reliable.

16 years old and looks so fresh. I have a 206 sw with low mileage and it looks a lot younger when compared to newer cars..

Had one of these, it was such a little b-road carver, loved it to bits. Revvy, responsive NA motor co-developed by lotus. Fantastic! Seeing this really made me long for that little agile corner stormer again.

That's not correct. The cylinder head was done by Mécachrome, this info comes from a french Peugeot document.

i love the 206 RC but my favorite Peugeot must be the RCZ. My favorite hot hatch is the SEAT Leon Cupra 1p(2nd gen) it looks amazing and i love the styling of the rear door handles

Had a 2001 206 gti. It was a fun little car. So fun.

That Benz may overtake you on the Autobahn, but in the mountains he won't be able to follow. I've been driving this rocket daily for 335'000km now, it still rocks big time ! Love of my life, i will hang on to it forever.

i used to have one of these, and did a turbo conversion on it, with an LSD up front, great little pocket rocket, was making around 230hp

And how your 208 better or no? My 206 with 1.6 Already died both externally and technically, but the engine is alive and also dreamed of buying RC, but bought a car of a different class. They are cool!

Steering wheel its not far away since the car was made for "standart european" 1.60m. And its my dream car ❤

Always wanted one of these, my first car was a 1.4l 206 which I still have sitting in a garage because I didn't want to sell it as it it has very low value even though it's mint. Drove amazingly for a small hatchback Replaced it with a V6 407 coupe which is an entirely different beast, it's like the last chance to ever daily drive a V6 now and it looks really nice so it was an obvious choice, even though I miss driving the small 206 sometimes

We have a 206 CC S16, though ~40 less HP, it is a fun litte car, especially in the summer of course with the top down.

I've got one of the 307cc convertibles with that exact engine in it. I'd trade it for the 206 in a heartbeat.

Ive got one which is all stock,drive it daily,such great fun on the twisty roads.....I used to work on them when they were new,,,the engine was designed and tweaked with help from Lotus

I live in Australia I have two of these both in red we call them a GTI 180, I have fitted the brembo 4 pots off the 406 coupe and a couple of other little mods and done the same black alcantara “A” pillars but have put bone colored alcantara on the headliner as I couldn’t figure out how to color the visors and the roof lighting cover. I really agree with what you said about the Renault they don’t feel as nice in the interior. I truly believe the only power difference was in the tune, the engine was not anywhere as refined as the ew10j4s. The J4S got forged steel connecting rods high comp 11:1 Mahle pistons and the final machine work for cylinder head was done by mecachrome the same company who does F1 engineering.

Very nice example. I did 120,000 miles in mine before I sold it. Mine was the same colour with the optional silver mesh grill and bonnet vents, which looked awesome at the time. Fun car to drive. Bit oversteery in the wet tho haha. I miss it a lot 😢 They were called GTi 180's here in the UK.

​@@Ruben98RaptoR In mine I was able to take off this plastic thing with display without even using strength. Also when I drive on uneven road it feels so bad, and my other car from that era (skoda fabia I) feels far more premium, but the 1.4 mpi engine in fabia has tragic reaction to gas, sometimes it can go out, when trying to start driving. In 206's 1.4 the reaction to gas is instant which I like. But plastics are so trgic in my opinion.

Don't think they came to the UK, great car. I love it

i love my 206 rc nice to pull ahead of some 3 series bmw´s on the autobahn :D

There are a lot of new accessories, android stereo w/360 vision, new front lights on autovalzer (no is not spam, I haven't found any other place where they sell front lights like that) and a few more stuff ... that could improve and "update" even more the 206 to this day ... awesome car. ps: 7:49 there are new accessories for that too, including an armrest for that part ...

Try manual if you can. Automatic gear very bad on this car (AL4) I try automatic 407 SW. After 206 with manual

i have a citroen c4 vts 180 by loeb which has the same engine, i do agree that it is more fun at the higher revs. fun little french cars
