Hey Guys, DVF Automotive for another video, today i took another car from my work and this is a Peugeot 206 with the 1.4 Petrol engine with 75bhp, in this video i do the first test drive to see if the car runs good and if everything works properly.
This car is very nice and looks good, this automatic transmission is very smooth and efficient, a perfect everyday city car.

it's pretty much a crappy gearbox. the AL4 transmission is know to be faulty. buy a manual if you can...

Matan Eyal it’s the solenoids (50 Hz) that regulate oil pressure in the transmission are unreliable. If these are replaced with updated versions (BorgWarner 100 Hz) the AL4 is quite reliable. Not very refined though, for instance ZF transmissions often have better shift characteristics

Matan Eyal it’s a reliable transmission, there was an issue an the earlier ones but it was fixed and it can be repaired for fairly cheap.

@@corona2261 yes. i like it a lot. i think 1.4 engine is fast enough for me since i drive in downtown a lot. i only drive 90000 km this week for these 20 years..*^_^*. i think i will continue drive until i change a new car.

Ma première voiture avec ce même moteur, joli petit bruit quand je montais dans les tours, jamais eu de problème mécanique, hyper fiable, hyper agréable à conduire de part sa légèreté, que des bons souvenirs. Je nourri toujours le regret de l'avoir vendu. (j'avais également l'obligatoire couvre volant WRC 😎 qui faisait arrondir à 80 cv din et gagner +100 en style) . Bref j'aime d'amour cette voiture.

Gonzalo Leiva it depends if the previous owner maintained it. If ATF was changed regularly(max 60kkm) than it will be fine. They are really tough

It's not a 5-Speed, this is the 4 Speed AL4. The 5-Speed was an automated manual (unreliable)

j'ai une 206 avec ce même petit moteur en boite manuelle 5 rapports, ça n'a beau avoir que 75ch c'est nerveux et c'est hyper fun au volant, pas cher d'entretien en plus

which construction year? I heard that they fixed most of the problems for the peugeot 206 cars that are newer than 2003

Well they are both made under the same group...they’re PSA branded cars after all, so you’ll see quite a few parts are the same in most models around the same time frame...

Je donne pas chère de ta suspension et de tes silents bloc si tu prends tous les ralentisseurs à 60 comme ça surtout en phase de décélération...
Est-ce qu'une 206 automatique est une bonne voiture pour un jeune permis ? Je sais qu'une 206 boite manuelle est parfaite pour un jeune permis mais en boite automatique ?
