Amazing is that the 106 is brilliant in any guise, from the GT and Rallye all the way to the 1.0 which is the one i own and yes, it doesn't go as fast as the rallye, not even close, but it does have nice performance for the type of car and the dynamics are all there and wow, is it fun to drive. i love it.

I had the Peugeot 106 Rallye S1 back in 1993, what a car it was. The stats she gave were incorrect, 0 - 60 was 9.3 top speed I forgot but I remember recklessly clocked 120mph on the motorway. I've had so many traffic light burn ups and races in it when back in those days were very common. Such fond memories of that car and when driving was bare raw pleasure because it had no power steering, no ABS, no stability & traction control just pure driver involvement.

Just missed a few minutes of this on TV, so thanks for the upload.

Try finding any of those cars for those prices 3 years on!

Subaru Impreza is the most iconic rally car ever in my opinion but I do love a good evo too.

An S1 Rallye is certainly not £1k anymore hehe. All the revered hot hatches of that era are shooting up in value, along with many other older performance cars. My little Clio Williams 1 has shot up in value as well.

Well, I bought my Williams 1 for £1850 and although I have done some crazy shit in it since and used it as a daily and track car it is now over the £10k mark easily.

wow. A Tommy for £7k. Not anymore

The evo is worth 27k plus now! #7k back then 😔 I wish I had purchased 3 then and I would have more then tripled my money! 😡

Found a 106 16V rallye GTI (this version was only sold in Greece and Italy ) two years ago for just 3 grants (actaully about 150 hp...) and last month I foud a 106 sport for less than 1 grant (only 100 tsd km the clock, full service book and no (!) rust !). Morevover, I own a "normal" 106 hfx 60 hp. I will never sell any of these 3 little rockets....never ever ...

Wow the car i always dream to have (evo 6 tme) and the car i actually have (106) in the same video. Ok to be honest i bought a 106 1,4 xsi, more torque and equipment, the same bumpers with bonus yellow fog lights, peugeot sport alloy wheels, better upholstery,sunroof, leather steering wheel and plastic wheel arches like the ones in 205 gti, i was looking for a rallye but i fell in love with not so famous xsi also racing heritage (pannizi's and loeb's starting point)

When l was a lot younger Mk1 Escorts were the car to have, and l had a 1971 Mexico, not into speedy cars now but l would like a Peugeot 106 Rallye, love the look, especially the white ones and l think the steel rims look great. l was under the impression the 106 Rallye had a slightly reinforced bodyshell compared to the other 106 models.

In France à good 106 rallye is about 9000 euros

Imagine getting a T.M.E for 7 grand! 😭

Ben Chesterman if you want a tme evo now for 7k its a burnt out shell, even cars beyond repair are worth more than that. red ones are stupid money.

australian dollars are over 2 to the £1

350 pounds for 3 engine mounts on a 106?! even uprated ones will barely be over half that. Standard mounts will come to £100 if that, its usually the lower ones that go.

Labour rates will be factored into her costs. The engine mounts aren't even a big issue! I would be more concerned with rust on the inner wings and boot floor and the rear beam needing a refresh at this age along with the common ICV fault!

Someone knows their stuff, my saxo vts eats engine mounts, the boot floor was rusted as were the inner wings. Rear beam is ok but a recon one is on the shopping list! Electrics were the biggest pain but I'm sure a rallye wouldn't be quite as bad not having a lot of the same systems as the vts like alarm, airbags etc, but then its still a peugeot. Idle is pretty good on mine surprisingly, touch wood!

Cheap rally cars lol I think rb5 is better sounding and the better driver but the evo is all ready kitted up for rally but your paying an extra 3 grand which you could upgrade the Subaru for and it would be better

Dan Prewitt the evo tme is by far superior to all imprezas except maybe the 22b (though the homologation special evo gives it the edge). I'm not biased (all three of my favourite rally drivers won their only championships in imprezas and juha kankunen who i regard as the best rally driver to date drove one) after growing up i realised that the subaru wasn't the car i wanted it to be and the serious evo 5/6/6 tme were. the evo 6 is the last of a great era (group a) and the best of the bunch.

The Subaru Impreza is more revered than the evo Vicky come on

En faite je suis pense me retourner vers ceux modele le 106 maxi moin priez que le 205 ou 406 moin reve ultimes le 405 mi 16s ca avec un turbo garett de 88 min tout forger ce moteur peux etre aussi ci se n est que plus puissant de le golf boba 2L16s ou le vr6 turbo 4wd pour moi c est soit un r21 tres bon souvenir de mon enfance que j ai du vendre d une perde de permis et qui permis dit boulot etant moi meme chauffeur livreur vl sans permis 4 em fois que je suis sous curatelle vue mon forme de vie 56 ans et plus de familles je suis seul aux monde d un monde surpeuplées le normal les ukrainiens et premier il sont les premier visait et donc tres dur pour quelqu un ancien chevalier dans mais ancêtres de Templiers et aux dernier nouvelles je ne serait pas pur souche bretonne parisien des choses cacher dans ma familles qu il ma appris que j avait du sang anglais a qu elles échelles aucun idee c est ce que retrouve sur mes ancêtres donc pas pur souche francaise et malheureusement je suis tomber épileptique apres la mort de toutes ma familles jusqu'a aujourd'hui et ces pas simple vouloir aider ces prochain et ne peux pouvoir personnes moi ancien descendant de épilepsie et sans ce valproate de de sodium et autre suspectent qud ma vie n est jamais a à l'abri d'une crise et ce savoir avec cette pièces Damoclès au-dessus de la tête moi fils de descend de templier qui je me tue a dire qu il n etait tousse francais pendant les croisades en Algérie ce sont des mais freres chretiens a leur aide ce puree de traitements m empeche de faire tout depart a aider nos freres ukraine aux autres envahie par poutines mais vous trouver pas bizarre que le corona virus nous a tousse infecter et nous rend encore dépendre de médicament parce que moi sans dépakine chrono 500 des un mot de tete est c est le doute et ci pas de cacher si quelques chose me pertube deja chomeur puisque les épileptiques sont sous surveillance grave pourtant ils oublie qui ne semble bien que derriere un voleur électrique ou atmo mais rouler simplement c est compliquée de toujours penser aux mien partie pour l autre monde et je me doit etre au top pour un jour les revoir dans l'au-delà et encore par sur qu ils soient pas deja revenue avec d autres directions oui je crois en la réincarnation dans une nouvelle familles 50 et seul j ai du etre maudit par quoi cette puree de maladies d épilepsie plus depakine mg 500 et pas que il me faut aussi rester calme et 2 exomi 500 ou autre tranquillisants mais bizarrement dans le feux de l action bhen aucun problèmes plus de stress et donc 100% de mes possibilité d aider mon croyant dans le besoins ou pas la vie et t un eternel brevet cap brevet et bac mais sans médicament j ai commencer a une fois que je travail plus de stresse puisque les crises ce déclenché par des crises d engoissement et de finir a l hôpital et seul cher moi une crise je tombe et je me reveille un peux partout et il m on prie m on permis que j avait tant galerer a récupéré ce Gràll pour tout chauffeur mais comme d habitude l etat a mie sont grains de sable et me la enlever pour la 4ème fois et la c est trop 56 ans j ai plus la force et 3 fois du premier j ai vis champion de France 3em en karting mais ca aller à cette époque pas de symptôme la pour le recuperer je ne vois qu un merguez parce que j ai grave econnnomiser un maxe pour que apres mon Graal haaa si me lit pitier seigneur jesus help my please ho Seigneur Jésus venir en aide
