    For a highly modified 1.6 16v need a handful more numbers, close to 200 mark. My Citroen AX with 1.6 8 valve (C2 VTS 125HP block with TU24 head, 41-33 valves, twin used Weber 45DCOE from your country) was 163,2CV @ 8.040 rpm, max rpm was 8600 at Maha dyno. Rich AFR near 12,5.

No, 8v heads all are mechanical lifters, some heads have roller rockets at cam side, TU24 head from Pug 205 Rallye-AX Sport (french model, there was an spanish model but was a 1.4 85CV , not the real Sport 95CV with twin Solex 40, Weber 45-40 DCOM in 205 Rallye) has normal ones. Remember years ago in Madrid streets running at night high rpm´s, after some Bacardí-lemmon, engine was in 3 cylinders, I lightened too much the rockets , one was broken, change next day by another stock without lightening and all OK. I fitted Citroen C2 VTS 125CV block but with the TU24 8 valve head, machining the pistons for the 2 valve head 12,5mm real valve lift, 325º intake 328º exhaust. Lightened stock rods, Piper 4-2-1 manifold with 41mm primaries, OMP 63mm exhaust pipe, Weber 45 with 40 mm(or 41) venturis, 163 jets, was running rich, later changed air correctors by a bit bigger ones. Here in Tube the dyno day, more videos in acceleration events. A friend made a 1328cc 8 valve engine, 151CV, but was with 2 rings pistons, engine burn some oil, and the liners bores had tendency to ovality.

    @@nicks_m1890 Hi Nicks, cam is a Cat Cams 490650, 12,85mm lift , 0,15mm valve clearance at intake 12,70mm real (previous comment I wrote 12,5mm, sorry). This cam is big bearing type, the head TU24 was machined to use this cam, TU24 head uses small bearing type cam. Pistons, stock from C2 VTS 125HP, I made the valve pockets with a tool I made using a steel cylinder with a groove, and 2 5/80 Allen bolts, one to move the cobalt cutter piece at radius, and the other Allen bolt to secure the desired radius. Near 2mm piston-valve clearance intake, a bit more exhaust. Started and used this engine with Sybèle Carabine "ECU", no PC used, it works with potentiometers, with Jenvey 45mm TB´s, but never the power arrived, sound as fuel no coming in TB´s, tried with bigger fuel pressure, bigger injectors, plying with ignition and cam tming, and nothing, never had power, A day fitted the stock Weber 45-40 from 205 Rallye and the power arrived, later purchased 2 Weber 45 from E-bay UK, came fitted to a Ford Pinto manifold, which I sold to Chile. Ignition was stock 205 Rallye , 16º @1000rpm, some knock until near 4500 rpm if full throttle from 2000-2500rpm, but never I used the engine in this way. Used the car in street, as weekend car, some "GTI´s" viewed the 1.4TRD rear logo. Dyno day:kzread.info/dash/bejne/eXd32NOrpryedM4.html
