Still my favourite Christian rock band of all time. Have been listening and praising with them since I was 20. I am now 67. Praise God for the tens of thousands who have given their lives to the Lord through their music and testimony.

Awesome. Opposite for me ! I'm now a Dan Vasc fan because I saw Dan's great "Beyond Belief" duet with John Schlitt & John Larry. So cool to hear how Dan - who now does cover songs with millions of views on KZread - was inspired to sing by Petra 15 years back. Dan's got a very gifted powerful voice ! I've been a Petra fan since age 17 when I saw the "Never Say Die" (1980 ?) Vinyl LP at our Bible Bookstore in San Diego. It was a revelation that a Christian God honoring band could hold its own with the Journey, Van Halen, Styx & other secular greats. As a young Christian I was HUNGRY for Truth & knew in my heart these secular bands - though talented - weren't pointing me towards the light, not consistently - but more often towards the dark side of "being my own god". In time I became more "in tune" with God's priorities & left the secular stuff behind. There's actually LOTS of great Christian Rock & Pop if you dig for it. 3 names, Daniel Band (Canada hard rock FABULOUS stuff) "Run from the Darkness" fav CD Jon Gibson - Urban blue eyed Soul - simply awesome - best into song: "God Loves a Broken Heart" Steve Taylor - CCMs hilarious prophet - nuanced & deep. "Meltdown" / "Jim Morrison's Grave" best 2 into songs. Seventy - Sevens "Sticks & Stones " album is an absolute Alt Rock gem - class act band. Godspeed to you - David in Texas

This lineup version is like a wine, when it grows over the years it'll become finest. Kudos to the organizers of this concert from Norway for the very smoth flow of the production. They were very bless because Petra still sings their materials at this point of their illustrous carer. Time will come that we will no longer see them siging live anymore but the legacy they brought to the Christian Rock music will never ever be forgotten. To God be the glory!

Started listening to Petra in '83 in college-! now 61. Always keeps me going, still ( especially need the energy when MS and other chronic illness just wipe me out. With their music my spirit and body are "quickened"/ more alive. PTL for Petra!!

I've been listening to Petra since the mid 1980s. I grew up in a Christian home so was not allowed to listen to secular music. My parents did allow some Christian rock and thankfully Petra was on the approved list. They are my biggest music influence and listening back they not only rock for the Rock of Ages but their songs are scripturally solid.

I used to listen to Petra waaaay back when I was in Junior High School in the 1980s. I remember I had the This Means War cassette, and wore it out. I'm no longer a fan of the religious aspects of that album, but it was a really good album musically. Crazy to think they are still performing after 50 years.

I saw Petra in Columbia and Charleston S.C... it was the Beyond Belief tour. They had the most incredible shows back then. I still have my "Beyond Belief " tee shirt. Black with big pink letters on the front and a list of places in the tour on the back.. it's the longest lasting shirt I've ever had

there is no christian band, i repeat no christian band that could if they wanted, play their own hits for 8 hours straight, except Petra. They are the only one whose work is so compelling, that they would get away with it..

Nice to see this, but I miss the original lineup. It's just not "Petra" I have been fortunate to sing on stage with Petra 3 times. Once with Greg and twice with John many years ago. All three are great memories. Nice still to see.John, John, and Bob.

The original lineup was mostly gone by Petra's third album. They didn't take off until "Never Say Die." Prior to that recording session, Petra was down to just Bob Hartman and Greg X. Volz, whom didn't join the fold until as a guest artist on "Come and Join Us."

This lineup version is like a wine, when it grows over the years it'll become finest. Kudos to the organizers of this concert from Norway for the very smoth flow of the production. They were very bless because Petra still sings their materials at this point of their illustrous carer. Time will come that we will no longer see them siging live anymore but the legacy they brought to the Christian Rock music will never ever be forgotten. To God be the glory!

Started listening to Petra in '83 in college-! now 61. Always keeps me going, still ( especially need the energy when MS and other chronic illness just wipe me out. With their music my spirit and body are "quickened"/ more alive. PTL for Petra!!

Soy fan de ésta banda desde 1994.... Cabe decir que hoy tengo 38 años.... Prácticamente toda mi vida estuvo musicalizada por Petra.... Qué bandazaaaa!!!! Bendiciones hoy y siempre!!!!!
I loved seeing Petra in concert at Raleigh Civic Center, Raleigh, NC, on May 11, 1984 with my Community Christain Fellowship Church, Havelock, NC youth group! Still love them and their music!

I started listening to them 30 years ago and have all of their albums. They are an inspiration to my life. Praise the lord for having them spread the message of Jesus Christ our LORD. Amen

I've been listening to Petra since the mid 1980s. I grew up in a Christian home so was not allowed to listen to secular music. My parents did allow some Christian rock and thankfully Petra was on the approved list. They are my biggest music influence and listening back they not only rock for the Rock of Ages but their songs are scripturally solid.

I used to listen to Petra waaaay back when I was in Junior High School in the 1980s. I remember I had the This Means War cassette, and wore it out. I'm no longer a fan of the religious aspects of that album, but it was a really good album musically. Crazy to think they are still performing after 50 years.

I saw Petra in Columbia and Charleston S.C... it was the Beyond Belief tour. They had the most incredible shows back then. I still have my "Beyond Belief " tee shirt. Black with big pink letters on the front and a list of places in the tour on the back.. it's the longest lasting shirt I've ever had

Nice to see this, but I miss the original lineup. It's just not "Petra" I have been fortunate to sing on stage with Petra 3 times. Once with Greg and twice with John many years ago. All three are great memories. Nice still to see.John, John, and Bob.

The original lineup was mostly gone by Petra's third album. They didn't take off until "Never Say Die." Prior to that recording session, Petra was down to just Bob Hartman and Greg X. Volz, whom didn't join the fold until as a guest artist on "Come and Join Us."

"You're in the Right Place" is a fitting opener because who knows what else could have been happening in parts of the country where this concert occurred. Thousands of people were in a safe heaven rocking out to Petra.
