I like your soapbox commentaries. The idea of taking on a project and not giving up speaks to me. I need to spend time with my patterns for a few days before I start knitting. The drawing sweater is one that causes a bit of anxiety because of all the things you said. My yarn and pattern is sitting in a bag waiting for me when my brain can take that on. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.

I find that there are so many helpful videos on KZread for techniques. Over time I have found those knitters that explain things in a way that makes sense to the way that my brain works. I also think that you have to be okay ripping back. We all find that not all yarns and patterns suit each other or the knitter. I tend to see that as a learning experience, not a failure. We just need to give ourselves grace along the way. I too am working on the Drawing Sweater. It is slow going but I am excited for it.

Great information, but there is a constant buzzing sound in the background & listening with earbuds was very difficult. Any time the microphone was touched there was a loud scratching noise.

thank you for your instructions they always help me be a better knitter and also your inspiration.......one of my goals for this year is to branch out and try new techniques with my knitting.....I think cables are next. Thank you I wish I was closer to your shop, I would live to take some of your classes.

To use an existing circular needle instead of buying another needle the pattern called out for. Example: sock knitting pattern calls out for US 2 double points. If you don't have that, but have a US 2 32 inch circular you can use that instead. HTH
