can this be used on hydrocarbon pipeline ? say 16" pipe size.

The 114 to 124 series would all work with hydrocarbons, all Multi-Flex® plugs can be configured for hydrocarbons and most chemicals. Visit our website or give us a call to provide more detail as to your specific application.
