Brian Martin has earned the right to call whatever he wants to cool. I doubt any of the negative comments have come from anyone who has built a single custom truck, much less as many as he has.

That is a bad ass truck!! Yall did a excellent job on it :). Trucks that are chromed out and that have every bell and whustle on it are getting over rated in my eyes.... it just shows who has the most money in their pocket.... It doesn't take much thought and dedication to just purchase every possible Accessory for a rig honestly. This truck is a beauty and original in every way. keep up the good work

If you saw my ‘87 Pete 379, you’d see the same thing. Which, it was at the 2019 GATS. It’s been rode hard and put up wet. And I’m so worried about getting it in top condition, it keeps me awake at night. So, I reckon I’ll just get the mechanical part if it in perfect order, as I planned to. And go from there.

With chrome it's all about the balance. There's some good looking rigs out there that don't have too much chrome on them and look just fine

Very clean approach to an older Class 8 here. BTW, which primary gearbox is in this truck? (Spicer had two approaches to a 9-speed. The first, I estimate, was a 7-speed with air-shift low-low; the second mirrors the Fuller RTX-nn709 and RTO-nn909 in use of an integral crawlerbox to use the top four main gears twice.)

as an old trucker, what happens at the scale houses, do they see it as what it is or do you get the old pull around back bullshit. i could just see that truck going across the scales at Banning Ca. don't get me wrong, great truck. would love to drive it, but the way DOT is now, sheeeeiiittttt. dont need a 5000 dollar fine.

Amen to that! I’m burned out on all the junk nowdays. But I’m just a dumb company daycab driver now, so there are no more old school trucks remaining. All def / doggy crap.

Why wouldn't you use license plates to build the visor? Rat rods shouldn't have any shine to them. Sorry, but that truck looks like it's in the middle of a restoration and not an intentional rat rod build.
