LOL you can take a CAT powered truck through cali but yea you'ed need a cali green certified stamp and everything else from what I've heard really sucks man. then again aren't they suppose to fall off the US too X( hope not :)

What kind of mufflers are you using? I have a 2007 379 with C15 and I'd like it to sound decent. The jakes make noise, but you don't really hear the engine from the pipes.

He probably has straights on. Take the mufflers off and put 6" straight pipes on and it will sound 100x better.

@jagreen2009 not them, all new engines, the regen system is a pain cuz it can cut your power at the worst time (like climbing in the mountains)

why do you say that? I have an opportunity to pic up a 2000 T-2000 w/ a C-15 CAT w/ 550hp that needs a rebuild kit. Where is the best place to but a engine rebuild kit for a C-15, and it does not come with Rods either, what do you do with the rods, have them shot peened?

Gurpreet Singh gear the truck to run 1325 rpm at 65 mph. Make sure you’ve got the power and torque to easily/comfortably pull your loads. Do you run hills? Heavy? Places where you accelerate and decelerate a lot? 22.5 are better for lots of hills/accel-decel since they weigh less, and for payload. 24.5 are better on flats where you set your cruise and go, and on rougher roads.

NO, not to the real truckers :) enjoy listening to the truck, your radio, and sight see what you can while your crossing the country "what little you can" and just enjoy your heater and ac, or the windows down :)

wouldnt have that problem if you monitored your DPF gauge more frequently and pulled over to manual regen when you arent pulling 70,000-80,000.

who know how many cylinders have this truck and cc i mean 15 000,20 000 cubic cm and v8 or v6 how many

+Stanislav Novoselski It's a C15 Cat engine which means it's a 14.6 Liter Inline 6 cylinder. It being a 14.6 liter engine is the same as 890 Cubic Inches, or 14,600 cc's.

to low rear gear ratio for my liking. your shifting to much. what ratio you running in the rears? definitely not a 3.73
