PETERBILT 379 - BEST SOUNDING TRUCK ON YOUTUBE 😎

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I'm not necessarily saying that MY Peterbilt 379 is the best sounding truck on KZread, but you can't really beat the sound of a Cat unleashing it's fury tucked under the hood of a 379 ;) Prove me wrong! (Seriously, if you know of any awesome sounding trucks on KZread put the link in the comments below! I want to see what's out there!)
This is a short trip through some twisty roads in Northern Michigan. Fully loaded with lumber.
2006 Peterbilt 379
CAT C15 650hp
Fully Loaded (140'000lbs) B-Trains

Only those that understand whats going on get this mans driving.... He drives with such care and non use of force in his driving habits.... This truck will last a million miles under his great care and skill.... He never "slams" this truck but rather gently goes through the gears and lets the engine work its way without force or coercion.....

I was back in the cab with my father looking at this, rest his soul. He drove like you, easy on the truck he lived for it, and loved truck driving. He started in the 60s and passed in 91. He had an old S2 kenworth with a 903, I started choking up at the sound of the jake. Thanks buddy, for the memory.

Wow...what a great sound!😃 I come from Germany, American trucks rarely drive here. I saw one of them, a Peterbilt, on the German Autobahn... I gave a thumbs up and made a hand signal to honk! Had he really honked! ...and then really accelerated...😳 I thought my heart would stop. Wow, it was going fast, definitely more than 70 miles per hour. Here you can only go 50 miles per hour. Well, this is Europe... I just like American trucks because they're just different... I like rustic. Even my off-road vehicle is rustic, I hate frills with a full computer in the car. This is not my world. Greetings from Germany, have a good time and have a wonderful time and a safe trip with Peterbilt :). Greetings from TOM

I love a cat growl. I would also add to the list the Mack E9 Super Dog engine! I have a b model cat in my Pete and love it. My W9 has 7's on it with a 12.7 detroit running a borg 171702 and a full tilt manifold. It peaks around 50 psi on a full pull

I'm just catching up to your videos. dude, besides my dad, brother and myself you are the best driver out there. I see all the confidence in you. Well, to be honest I was an okay driver but I wasn't 100% confident like my dad and brother are and y'all three drive alike. No GPS and just know where you're going lol. My dad died about 13 years ago and I swear, I was watching Thelma and Louise and my damn dad shows up in that movie! He was exactly like the tanker driver. I'm shocked I got an ajucation. Anyway, back to the point. I'm listening to this video with 5.1, 7.1 and headphones. If i lay on my couch and shut my eyes I fall asleep it's like I'm back in a truck again. Oh, I'm disabled/retired now. Anyway, keep up the good work and maybe someday get you one of them drones to scan areas and they make some cool photos. Some dude named High Strung does those types of photos and they are cool. But hey, stay safe out there and Thank You fort all your hard work.

I drove for 25 years...never got a Pete though...I learned on a 10 sp. TT, then my first paying job was on a mack quad box 10 wheel dump. I hauled freight, logs, (470 Detroit in a Volvo/White, chips, fuel oil, & propane. I live on a secondary east/west truck route, on a grade...I can hear the throaty Detroits coming...then icing on the cake when it's under the hood of a Pete ...duel stacks growling , visors, chrome, & I can just picture the high stick, low seat....coolest cats on the road !! You too kid...love your style. ..♡☆♡

Its a cool thing lol.saw many drivers mostly a Peter built thing in the ditch , over the hill , shred tires on scales more serious get folks killed in wrecks by setting on the floor trying act cool like they dont need see the road ! Just like the high shifters and many other issues to look bad or like a super trucker lol.I hailed all my life until retired and hauled coal in the 90's 65 to 70 ton plus the weight of the truck in WV and KY on the main roads with air in the seat for not my safety but innocent others so I could see everything! Never had a wreck. There new generation of truckers couldn't last a day like the old school real truckers had to do it.steering wheel holders all they are .strap 70 ton on there back on naror windy 2 lane roads and big curvy hills ..I flinch every time I pass one and say a prayer in case one hits me head on.trucks not kept up and drivers can't drive or no nothing about safety or how to control the truck in seriously bad situations
