I think she did a massive mistake not going with Kelly. Kelly was the one showing the most interest, gave the best offer, and interior design is her field of expertise!

Totally agree.

For people who don’t know Kelly Hoppen, she is an interior design giant. Doing properties all over the planet. She would have had an insane impact on this business. Far greater than Deborah, you really should study your dragons before entering the Den. Emphasised by her final interview, she had no Dragon in mind. Her decision was solely based on emotions.

Two dragons for 10% each. I think she made an error there. Deborah is a beast but duel connections plus Kelly was into that and a good fit for it.

This is the reason that newer Dragons always end up leaving, Peter and Deborah's reputations and longevity in the Den is impossible to compete with.

there are plenty of 2 season dragons in the shows history, this pitch might well be why. This had Kelly Hoppen all over it, and she made the best offer. Duncan sitting there knowing he cant compete with her, but trying to get in on the deal. Insane choice.

Sounded rather too good. Think that is why Peter and Piers declined to get involved. You cannot say that without evidence. Would be good to have more info and learn from her experience.

Sounds like she angered a lot of people by offering Christmas payment plans, even though she knew the company was going under. A lot of people left out of pocket it seems.

the only reason she picked the nosiest Debra, she made business sense to diversify the product line. although better offer was on table, but it was mindless, especially Kelly who has really not invested in any bushiness apart from just one, and Duncan is more a ruffian/moby businesses of pubs, bars, gyms, bouquet halls, rentals, collection etc etc his portfolio is dry...

How does someone get this opportunity just to not research the dragons? That’s just lazy

Hope this one works out for her... genuine pitch for more equity. Hope Deborah stops messing with her fingers and makes this one a real success. 😄

Dissolved doesn't always mean it failed or went bust. A company can also be dissolved following its takeover by a bigger company. They may well have sold it to a major toymaker and made a packet.

@@helenaville5939 They appointed a liquidator in Sept 2017 with debts of just over £300K. Final creditors meeting was May 2020 and company was formally liquidated in August 2020. Such a shame.
