You girls made that song your own. Something that is not easy to do. AMAZINGIY GOOD!

Rebecca has a fantastic voice. Sledgehammer doesn’t exactly lend itself to a live performance by just two, but they smash it. Lyrics not exactly intended to be sung by women, either - witness the occasional smile between the sisters. Great stuff, terrific performance.

You know when Megan’s eyes close, things are rocking!

We all talk about the slide queen, and with good reason, but Rebecca is also a very accomplished guitar player in her own right

What I enjoy about these covers is that I can really get the genius of both the music and lyrics, it's like the stripped down hot rod of music.

Never seen Larkin Poe but I own some of their cds. Their style, their brave approach to music is so fresh. I turned Woody Guthrie tunes into metal. Metallica becomes Mozart. Miles Davis becomes the Beatles. Love this duo.

Ladies, brilliant as always...! I love these "raw" performances. Fact is, I like them more than the produced product. Please compile and publish all this brilliance: "Larkin Poe - Raw and Untouched - From the Girl's Locker Room"... :-) You get the idea, these performance are priceless...!

That was a happy surprise with an acoustic guitar, and really good control on the style of playing. Peter's version is almost done with the "wall of sound", but Larkin Poe made the instruments stand out as skillfully mastered. Better than the original every time. So what is their secret to awesome all around performance? Wait, don't tell me, let the whole world wonder too.

The key to the cover’s success is SPACE! The mind naturally fills in the pieces. As you tap your feet, it’s adding in percussion subconsciously. The simplicity of it all is why songs like this do so amazing. The more you try to add to get the “wall of sound”, the more you have to do to get it to work right.

@@davebeach2343 I LOVE BB King! My mom used to put on his albums, and Aretha Franklin, and a lot of soul music, Young Rascals, Spencer Davis Group & Traffic, Beatles and more. There are times I love the “wall of sound”, but usually I prefer to let my mind naturally fill in the blanks. It was hard as a beginning guitar player (a couple or three decades ago) because I wanted to play to fill in the spaces my brain did on its own, and could never keep up. I had to slow the 45s down to 33 1/3 to realize the notes I was hearing in my head were my own harmonies and weren’t on tue record (we had a ton of records at home from the jukebox at my parents’ restaurant, every time they’d switch them out for new singles).

I have to rewatch what I was rewatching with my eyes open. Y’all are so freakin amazing!!!!

For 4 minutes and 8 seconds I did not breathe .. such a difficult song! Sisters Poe are going beyond beautiful ...

This ought to be incredible. I'm a fan of the song by Peter Gabriel and an even bigger fan of Larkin Poe therefore I am excited to see what they rendered with their immaculate creativity and skill. Edit: I'd like to see these girls do a cover of Addicted to Love by Robert Palmer. I think Megan's slide would do justice of the horn section and Rebecca's gritty vocals would give a nice edge to the atmosphere of the song.

That was absolute fire Ladies! Nice freaking job! Nice cover! One of my favorite Peter Gabriel songs! 👏👏👏 Bravo!!

I “hear” many songs for the first time when LP plays them. Even though I’m a child in time.

This is one of my favorite songs.

I never really liked this song because of the video back in the past. But this time I really really love it.this version is awesome. Sounds great.

The sexual double entendres take on a whole new light. All the phallic symbols are fun in a whole new way as are the birds and bees flirting with the fruit cage.

Simply magical. The talent of These two ladies is remarkable. Their sense of harmony vocals, harmony of instruments, and their sensitivity of timing will go down in history as legendary.
