This track should have been called "Bell bottom blues" given the immense flared satin white trousers Pete is wearing. ;-). We all wore flares and platform soled shoes back in the day... it seemed to fit the rock music of the day.

In 1976, I was 12 years old, I cried at night because i wanted to marry him one day! Then, at 24..I worked at A&M. When I found out he was coming in the office that day, I started to shake, I couldn’t believe it! His pic was on my office wall, my childhood idol!! It took me right back to those tween years! I got to meet him that day, and took a picture with him! He will forever be in my heart and soul! Best day ever!!!!

The cocaine habit was strong in this one. Peter Frampton Details Drug Abuse During Career: ‘It was Criminal’. Peter Frampton’s Drug Abuse at Peak Frampton explains in the interview that he’s since taken responsibility for relying on the wrong people. Besides being lied to, his manager also ripped him off and left him bankrupt. But the guitarist was always clueless due to being fed hard drugs constantly. “I was kept away from those things,” Frampton said. “I was kept high. If I needed weed, he made sure I had weed. If I needed cocaine, he made sure I had cocaine. He didn’t want me thinking about what was going on.

I love the 70's, 80's and some of the 90's music and listen to it daily. Times change but I have found some great rock music on here purely by accident kind of how I discovered some great new bands (at the time) in a record store based on the artwork on their album covers and took a monetary gamble (of which I had very little as a kid) I have found that since I stopped thinking that no good music was made after say 1996 and started looking for it that I have found it (and it's free) we have to stop being so close minded and negative in our old age and put some effort into finding newer stuff because it's out there as long as you put forth some effort and positive attitude.

This is the same Concert Skynyrd played. They played 'Freebird' during their set and it was great. Their stage decor was the best I've ever seen. Even compared to today. They had George Washington and Thomas Jefferson on each side of a gigantic Rebel Flag. This audience is so into the show. I would have been too. I love long, extended versions of great guitar playing. This is a video I've watched many times along with 'Freebird.' Their guitar playing was magnificent as well. This show was July 2, 1977; 3 months before Skynyrds tragic plane crash. RIP. I wish I was a teenager in the 70s. What a genius time for music. If you were a teenager in the 70s I envy you.

It’s 2024! And, I’m gonna be 54 this year, in September! That being said,All, I want for my birthday wish,is when they finally build a transporter! Beam me up Scotty! Take me to THE 70’s! They were so magical! I wish I could explain it to my kids and grandkids. There is just no way for me to articulate to them. HOW GREAT IT WAS! I would , just have to take them there, for them to Understand it.

I can't believe it. I grew up in the 70's but never saw this performance from an all time favorite. I was 14. Been a long time. I loved all our classic musicians back then. Too many to name a favorite. Still listen to them all in my 60's. Myself and my friends were so lucky to have grown up in such an era. ✌️

This was so good!!!! I had to watch this three times!!! Outstanding!!! The San Francisco Bay Area had some of the best concerts on the planet. Especially the Day on the Greens! I have been to at least a dozen Day on the Greens and they were all amazing. I wish that was at this one but I missed it. They done make music like this anymore, this was when Music actually had value!!! Listen to that crowd!!!

This was the glorious Bay Area concert scene of the 1970s. I thank God I got to experience it with the various Day on the Green concerts. The crowds were golden and sun-kissed. The Oakland that is now is an unapproachable crime-infested hellhole. We will never see this music scene again in Oakland. 😞
