@@brentsarazin6597 ... I was alive at the times of 1975 - 1979 in my teenager years. I think Roger Waters took an irrelevant Pink Floyd band up to 1977 and creatively mastered the hard rock albums "Animals" of 1977 and "The Wall" to become relevant in heavy metal I think Rolling Stones told Pink Floyd in 1975 they were playing melodic rock only for aging audiences. Everything in music 1975 to 1979 started to become new envelope pushes for rock groups to become relevant. I can't even get Foreigner's "Feels Like The First Time" or "Head Games" very much relevant as many other heavy metal music artists let alone Disco artists, Country artists, Punk Rock artists in synth music, etc. of 1970s 2nd half decade inspired by music up to 1975.

KOZ-WTF NATION RADIO 🤣 the fuck are you talking about? He quite literally had the best selling live album of all time (Peter Frampton Comes Alive 1976). It stayed at number 1 in the charts for like 10 weeks straight the year it came out. He also won album of the year with a Rolling Stones audience poll - also in the 70’s. Only place he apparently hasn’t been recognized is the music hall of fame but fuck that circus show Even today he’s touring everywhere and selling out venues... He’s an icon

neuromantoo I'm 54, and have always been a music lover. I love damn near everything from today back to the start of recorded music. I even have some midi transcribed piano roll music that I find inspiring. I grew up with The Stones, Led Zep, and all them. Never liked much Big Band, Rap, Country or "dance music". There are some great performers today, but IMO, the ratio of good:crap has gotten slowly worse over my lifetime. Too much "production", autotune, wall of noise, etc. But the point is that good music survives.

TheRealMrPeach I have very eclectic musical tastes. Last year I took my granddaughter and her boyfriend to see the 4 hour performance of Philip Glass's Einstein on the Beach. As a teen in the 60's I devoured music, jazz, country, psychedelic and acid rock, Motown, Balinese gong, avante-garde classical like Terry Riley, Lamont Young, and Karlheinz Stockhausen you name it. There certainly are some of today's performers that I like but for the most part I find a lot the music derivative. Absolutely loathe autotune too.
