Filmmaker Peter Byck talks about his new documentary "Roots So Deep (you can see the devil down there)." Feature is now available on VOD.
Official plot synopsis: "Roots So Deep (you can see the devil down there) is a 4-part documentary series about inventive farmers and maverick scientists building a path to solving climate change with hooves, heart and soil. Can an underutilized way to graze cattle, that mimics the way bison once roamed the land, help get farmers out of debt, restore our depleted soils, rebuild wildlife habitat and draw down huge amounts of carbon? Cattle have been seen as eco-villains for a long time. What if they can help save us from catastrophic climate change?"

I found regen ag via looking for a real food diet after a health issue. I am a postman and for the last three years I have been working towards becoming a farmer. I will be at the UK's premier of Roots So Deep at the UK's Groundswell regen conference later this month. As an honours degree student in Life Sciences, a portion of my studies was in soil science, ecology and environment I can't wait to be stimulated again by the research this film series documents. Big up Peter Byck for his open mindedness.

Let me know how it goes. The main point of the doc is "here's an idea. Let's see if it works or not". Your experience will be one more bit of data to add toward the theory. Good luck with the farm as well. It's hard work, but important work. I wish you all the success.
