AJ Richards - Notes Form The Hometown Roadshow
Ғылым және технология
AJ Richards fights for the independence of America's food producers through cutting edge technology and old fashioned handshakes.
His focus on solutions that allow farmers form every tradition to find customers gives regenerative ranchers a huge opportunity to overcome one of their biggest bottlenecks: finding customers that understand the value of the food they're offering.

Great conversation! I've been following (and cheering on) Mr. Richards and his enterprise for awhile. I did not know his personal story and am quite intrigued by his lived experience, with feet in many worlds. I also live in Oregon. Didn't realize the Bundy family connection. My love for healthy land, local food, functioning water and carbon cycles.... has me in solidarity with people I never in a million years thought I'd understand, let alone cheer for. So many of our divisions are intentionally created. Getting back to what is really important makes that disappear. The phrase "common ground" takes on a whole new meaning... As always, thank you for all you do.
There are no problems, only solutions.
A great concept, well thought out and researched. May it go from strength to strength. Local availability and direct provision from farm to customer is definitely the way to go.
Thanks AJ!! God bless you!! Keep it up!! You are amazing!!
Glad i saw this. I was intrigued when he mentioned a mobile (i believe) slaughter facility that's passed USDA inspection/requirements & they had a small on that did up to 25 head. I thought that'd be perfect for us. Until he gave the price tag. That was an instant bubble popper. Would have liked to of had the company websites mentioned, but all it showed in the transcript was fra fra. I'm about 3 hrs away from salt lake city, so to have ranchers from all over be a part of this. I can't remember the name but there was someone that was creating a website or business to bring farm raised food to their "local" area. So, i thought I'd check it out. It was hilarious to discover my "local" farm business was clear across the country in PA. Too overpriced, especially with shipping. Glad to see/hear that your guy's plans are never to sell ofc the business, i hope that stays true past the kid's/grandkids generations. Great idea's & big picture/future plans. Sounding awesome.
Fabulous! We need producers in west central CO to sign up, especially with regenerative produce. Grand Junction needs you. It's a major fruit production center.

@@adriandavis1200 Yes! I would gladly support regenerative ag if I could find it. It's slow to catch on here. It's so hard to find clean food!
This is great to see!! Hopefully this air bnb style of marketing beef can reach Canada asap! PS 🤫Mother Iwa is not going to help you reach ranchers...😉

Hahaha true. Hopefully more dollars in their pockets will work
Sadly we will never see a decrease in cost past to the average consumer. Beef is nearly $2 per pound more now than in 2020. This is just one step in correcting things.
I hope you get so,e longer formate content prior to fall harvest. Who knows, maybe we need to get you planted in a buddy seat here doing a couple of lives. I’m not a “climate guy” tho. Just an at scale farmer trying to do it better, and who has been doing it for 23 years.
