I built log homes in the 90s. It put us in awesome shape. We didn't have a crane. Or hard hats.

Looks great so far...hope the ceilings are much higher than normal height otherwise gives off a ready-made kitset and claustrophobic vibe - unsure about the tree in the house...does the aesthetic value outweigh the practical/functionality of the house??? I think it's more of an eyesore and rather not have it - so glad house isn't mine. But if you were local and I can afford you, I'll definitely would use your expertise.
