Is it any wonder that his mainstream popularity and commercial success peaked during the mid-1980s _Youthquake_ era?

So intelligent and eloquent. I wish he didn't go for surgeries he didn't need, he could've been so much more acclaimed now. But I also know he didn't care for any of that, he just did whatever the fuck he wanted and I love that about him. I hope he finds what he was looking for all these years, r.i.p. love!

She was transgender, you twit. She had FFS on her face to more closely match her face to her gender. You can deny it all you want, but trust me it won't hurt your image or reputation to just say that you wished she had been able to transition back then without the public being so critical and having bigoted expectations of her and her career.

Do not call him 'her' and 'she' 🤢 he stated so many times he wasn't transgender, he's the kind of person that if he was, he would just be that. You must have not read or watched much of what he said for you to be so adamant, it's cringy honestly.

I wish I could’ve met Pete at least once before his passing to tell him personally how much I appreciated him and his music throughout my 26 years of life

He just couldn't see his perfection the way he was. Like when anorexics think they are fat and overweight when you can clearly see they are not. It is a terrible terrible thing mental illness and if I were a surgeon I would have sent Pete for psychological treatment, not cut into his gorgeous face.

He seemed absolutely wonderful but from what i’ve read nothing was ever enough for him. The saddest thing was that I don’t think he realized he messed up his face. He was already down right beautiful the way he was! I feel very sad for him and the path he choose. I hope he is never forgotten. RIP Pete Burns.

Doctors messed up his face.his lip injections got a massive infection that spread all over. He had major surgery every week for 2 years to rebuild his face .it almost killed him but thank God he won a lawsuit to pay for it

I love Pete and his speaking voice. So amazing

Pete is coming up in my feed for days now. I have now watched so many interviews with him and have to say I admire his honesty, his passion for music and his creativity. He was very straight, no BS kinda guy. It’s awful what happened to him with the botched surgeries. I hope those crook surgeons were prosecuted for their wrong doing and no longer can practice. But I guess it’s also how your body reacts to the procedure as well. It’s very sad. Not fair that he had to pass like that after everything he had been through.

You people really shouldn't be rude to or about him. It wasn't his fault that the surgeon screwed up his face. He is still a great guy and really shouldn't be judged by how he looks. He just wanted to fix his nose, which flopped over to the right, causing him to wear an eyepatch until he was able to get it fixed. He then fixed it but caused a minor problem, which he tried to fix. Then he tried to fix another problem but the surgeon permanently fucked up his face. He doesn't deserve all the hate that he is receiving. He is a amazing human being who looks different than others. He still shouldn't be judged. But seriously people- get a life. He's perfect the way he is

He was talented ,but was a total nut. He made his lips so fat he couldn't talk right let alone sing. He dressed like a woman. He got what he deserved. People are crazy that are so worried about their looks and use plastic surgery. He ended up looking like a butt ugly woman, but said he was happy with his looks on a English talk show in 2018.

I know people love to try and quote Pete about the whole trans thing, but SHE specifically said was SHE didn't want to talk about the LGBT and trans thing. On another occasion he did say that SHE didn't like that people thought of HER as a woman, but if you read between the lines then you KNOW that SHE worked in a field where "sexy men" was glamorized, but nearly NONE of them were trans. SHE also said SHE hated her voice. But keep doing you with that denial thing, LMAO!

No one knows the whole deal on someone's life, and people choose to insult the person different without any knowledge without even WANTING to understand, because they know they are fascinated by the person but scared of the fact that they ARE fascinated.

I love Pete Burns no matter what has happened to the plastic surgery he is still good looking on the inside that can never change, I love this band till this day He will always have talent, strange though I cant see him married to woman though he would be better with a man any day. there are guys out there that would just adore him I being one of them. Body dysmorphic disorder. He was so beautiful to look at and what a smile! Everyone I've seen comment on his appearance says he was handsome just the way he was but there was obviously a real insecurity in him where he just couldn't see how much of a beautiful person he was. Even today he would still be gorgeous if he left well enough alone. Guys, don't screw around with your face, age gracefully and stay healthy and you'll always be gorgeous.

He seems so much more demure and shy when you see these older interviews. He has become much more cynical and sassy in his older age. He's still so interesting!

@@katethomas5712 it's hard to explain,Birkenhead is a five minute drive from port sunlight and paul O'Grady is from birkenhead,so neither have Liverpool accents, generally the birkenhead accent is slower than the Liverpool accent.
