Horrible call of the referee, Anderson was on his feet and the round was ended. 1-2 rounds were balanced between both contenders. I don’t get why all the harsh comments against Anderson. Surely you never step into a ring.

good performance from Anderson but good call of the referee.. man the last straight left hand was so powerful and brutal.. after that the Anderson legs wasn't ok..

Gaiet 'l bel I have seen Anderson fight live here in Bangkok several times. Often he was hit by a ko punch, but after that he managed to recover and also win the fight. He has been MX Muay Extreme champion due to this characteristic.

I felt kind of bad for the Swede. To be put against Petchmorakot in MT ruleset, this is like a verdict, not a match. As for the referee - I guess the safety of the fighters is of utmost importance and while he could have left the clinches longer, I applaud the stoppage. Andersson was wasted, barely kept his hands in the end, this was not a guard but a mockery of one. An elbow or a kick in the head after the barrage of punches could have damaged him severely. Nice and most welcome stoppage indeed!

That referee was terrible. Stopped clinches too early and while that wasn't the worst stoppage I have seen it wasn't the most reasonable. I doubt it would make a difference to the outcome of the fight though.

He was hesitating to stop the fight . Should have let it go until the dudes gets drop . Stopped the clinch way too much and early too ...

@MultiDimwit Don't overblow it. Petch was better but it wasn't the biggest gap in skill like when he faced Charlie Peters.

Thai ref don’t need see you die before stopping. The fight was over. Good stoppage. Go watch ufc

Not that it mattered, but bad count by the ref. Noble job of the commentators to attempt to make Andersson seem like a threat, but Petchmorakot is just too much for most at the moment. I think the guy to beat him will be someone with an awkward style (maybe even inexperienced) that just catches him with an unorthodox (maybe fluke) punch (or whines like Petrosyan). What a beast!

จริงจับตั้งแต่สติลอยตอนแรกก็ไม่น่าเกลียดครับ เซฟนักมวยด้วย ไม่มีใครด่าหรอก

คมดีครับขาดแค่เดินเข้าไปให้เค้าทำก่อน ไม่มีลูกนำโดนเต๊ะก่อนตลอดถ้าเจอมวยอาวุธหนักๆอาจน่วมก่อนเข้าถึงตัว

หันหลังวิ่งหนีไม่สู้แล้วจับแพ้ไปเลย

The referee stopped the fight with 2 seconds left! TWO SECONDS..and Andersson was doing ok. TERRIBLE STOPPAGE..should be a rematch!

agreed it was a little early. They have been calling fights a little earlier then usual since covid. I think they are aware trying to keep the underfavoured athletes safety as top priority as they are aware some match ups are a little off. But this was a great performance from Magnus, he looked good but those small gloves are dangerous.

Yes the stoppage was made in such a rush although the left hand rocked him really bad so after the count down the stoppage was a matter of time anyways, the ref should have waited a little bit for a comeback

If the referee waited 2 more seconds, Andersson would have had 60 seconds to recover. Title fight between 2 world champions..come on
