Carson Turner please don’t! If your room smells get a fan and air it out. You should be cleaning the cage and room with a gentle chemical built for sensitive animals regularly to help reduce smell. Diet also helps a ton with smell so if you feed them bad their stool will smell bad.

I've never thought about the "If it's a puppy/kitten, people would care" statement. That's such a valid point, yet people look at other small pets, and they view them as lesser. It's heartbreaking. Regardless of size or popularity of the pet, it's still a life that should be respected and loved. ❤️☹️

Ahhh yes I have a snail........ once it slept for 3 weeks straight and I thought it died... the I put food in her little mini-ecosystem and then after 5 minutes I saw her out of her shell eating... 😐😯😶

The scruffing and swinging one almost made me cry ngl that was horrible I don’t even have ferrets and I know that that is horrible to do to them I’m angry with you girl ✊🏻

bathing animals for views is such a big thing on tik tok and i absolutely hate it. i’m guessing it’s just because it’s easy content to get views off of. i’ve seen so many bathing hamster & rabbit videos as well animals that should absolutely never be bathed. it’s really sad tik tok brings out the worst in people

The problem is these people don’t do their research (and same for the viewers, they won’t know) so they do harm or something wrong to a pet for views and it spreads around because a lot of people on tik tok just want attention. So, that’s the problem

After watching the oven one at the end, i couldnt help but think "How much of the crusted grease or other things that are on your food that that ferret has touched or even eaten"

I got my ferret today and it is already my pride and joy! Since schools are closed I’m able to give it tons and tons of playtime! Even when school starts back up next school year I plan to keep my ferret happy and have tons of playtime!

People need to get educated about ferrets. Imagine you geting picked up by your hair and getting spun in a circle. I have my cat as my profile and I've never made her take a bath even though she didn't mind water. Thank you for teaching me so much Pazuandfriends

Another thing to add about bathing, if you have sensitive skin hot water usually dries your skin out. This is how they would feel afterwards too :(

You're supposed to use lukewarm water (for ferrets) because they can't feel heat the same way as we can she talked about that once when I find the video I'll link it.

I Honestly don’t understand what was going through that guy’s head when he Grabbed your ferret and flew around the room. Like who thinks that ok. You can tell ferret didn’t like it. The second I saw the video and saw his username I mediately looked him up and reported it because it’s just so not ok and people need to know that. If people actually do the right Research they would know not to do that and it’s so sad how many people don’t do there research 🙄 none of the comments where talking about how bad it was and just saying he funny the video was. I’ll still be supporting the channel, because I’m not just here for the knowledge. I love this channel and you guys! So yeah, gonna hold of on the ferrets. One of the reasons why is because of my pets I already have, I have three cats, and I’m not saying that it’s bad to have ferrets and cats, it’s just.. my cats have hurt lots of animals outside, they’re very hyper and wild and I just wanna be safe. I also have two dogs who are hyper and love to hunt. In my opinion, not safe to have ferrets around them. Another reason, there’s two things I’ve done SO much research on and I’m still not completely sure. 1. Medication/diseases/etc. And 2. Raw feeding, Diseases I know can be very dangerous (obviously) but also, it’s hard to get surgery and vet shots because of their stress and more. This is from what I’ve read so not completely sure. And with raw feeding, I think I wanna do commercial grind, but I think that (I forget what it’s called) the raw feeding that Bryn does has the most benefits. So I want to wait till I understand that way more so my ferrets will have more benefits from that. I don’t want my ferrets to get hurt from my lack of knowledge. Here’s some more reasons: I don’t think I have enough money saved up, I want more space for my ferrets (I was thinking maybe a room to themselves and also have full access to the house) and also don’t want to be taking up space in my parents home for my ferrets. And one BIG thing, my area doesn’t have a near-by vet that they can go to, we have vets but they won’t take ferrets in. We also don’t have anywhere to get them from that isn’t from a pet store and I will never buy from a pet store, or support it in any way. In the end, I just want what’s best for my future ferrets. I would rather ferrets go from a shop to somewhere else than get bought and support a pet mill like Marshall’s

I have a car and I might be getting a ferret, so I can understand the bathing thing. The only time we washed our cats fur was when he was really sick. We haven't washed him since but he is so soft and clean.

The baths are most likely because on google it says bathe a ferret every 2-3 months

When I get a ferret or even if I don't I will try to be as responsible as I can be, I will make a video on tik tok saying that we really have to take care of ferrets and not treat them right only for a something thousand liked video, make a tik tok video with not harming your ferret, some people have to know this.

I hate how people mistreat any living thing and they dont treat it and think about if they were that living thing they are harming you know, how they feel, how such a short life they've had. It just makes me so sad.

I plan on getting ferrets either within the next week or in a few months after I move and I’ll be honest.. I want to make the oven tiktok. I saw a few different versions and one with cats. The difference with that one though is the person was like, “This one is a lil crispy” (black cat) “this one is somehow underbaked and crispy” (black and white cat “this.. I don’t even want to know how this happened” (calico/tortoiseshell cat) I mainly enjoyed the video because I thought the guy was funny and the cats were really cute :) I don’t think people have ill intentions when it comes to making those videos and it usually makes a lot more sense with the sound on. Tiktok is mainly about having fun and joking around.. I know a lot of videos you were right about but the last one kinda got to me

I am really annoyed at my mom and grandma because even though I have done extensive research they are afraid of ferrets because they think they "kill for fun" and "are not domesticated" when in reality yes they might kill for fun but we kill more animals than they do each year and also mitochondria can has figured out that they have been domesticated for 2 ,500 YEARS

If you still with your parents you probably shouldn't be getting ferrets, I mean, if they don't want the pet and you manage to get it anyway then they aren't going to help with the care. I don't know your age but it's too much care for a child/young teen to manage

Playing with a ferret gently is ok since they are very flexible they don't mind. Spinning makes them dizzy but they still love their owners as much as they can. Ferrets are like crack noodles. Flexible and energetic.

This was so hard to watch for me thank you for spreading awareness on good ferret care

You know for those videos i always use my humans emotions. The emotions who say that it is cute and adorable. Now my animal emotions are going crazy. Like anger, dissapointment all that stuff.

I hardly ever bathe my ferret! but, when I do, I do sink baths with no water. I use water, I just don’t do deep baths. I found out by one of your videos that tea tree is toxic. so I switched to no tea tree! can you give me your opinion on this?

I have been given a ferret in late January by a friend who couldn’t give proper care to her. I’ve noticed she is a bitting ferret I would be ok with that but she bits over and over. I asked the previous owner and she said that she lived with about 16 other ferrets. I don’t think she has been around people long enough to understand she is not playing with another ferret. I really need to try different ways to get her to stop biting. I need some tips.

The ferret in the oven bit is not awful. It's a smidgen funny. Barely laughable, but not at all harmful.

Some people even go as far as buying any animal for a video and getting "clout" and after just completely not taking care of the animal or giving them up for adoption. Many people also think that ferrets can just be let out into the wild which they cannot since they are domesticated animals.

I jut wanna say this video made me so upset and I don't even have a ferret 😧

Really appreciate your videos. I have a serious question about helping my ferret. He's a 3 yr old male and has recently become very itchy. He had what looked like a skin colored mole pop up almost overnight and itched it raw until it bled. Its now scabbed over and I'm trying to keep him from scratching so it heals. But today I found fresh dried blood and matted fur on his lower side. Cleaned it off and sure enough watched him scratch the area with his hind leg half an hr later. How can I relieve his itchiness and keep him from causing a wound? I clip his nails weekly, his diets not changed or anything new. Just want to give my baby relief in a safe way. Advice pls?

I believe it to be "Ferretvite", and YES, it's definitely bad. I just thought as a PSA, it should be clear what you shouldn't be feeding your ferret! Oh, and at 21:36 I don't know for sure, but my educated guess is "Marshmallows with food coloring"... but I am guessing (and of course that's a terrible thing to give to a ferret if true).

Hi! Since baths aren’t necessary or very good for ferrets are there any ways to deal with the smell? My parents are considering getting me a ferret after I do proper research but one of their only concerns is the smell.

In the first one, the ferret ended up dying because she used oil pastels. It died shortly after the video... Those were not non-toxic, poor baby...

Riku Animations ferret proof ur room and let them have free roam with the cage open to get food and sleep. i don’t really recommend keeping them in the cage unless you’re not home. i let mine roam all day with supervision. they’re just like cats and dogs. i wouldn’t recommend a cage for them so i wouldn’t recommend one for ferrets either

I have a wired bottom ferret cage, can I put cardboard or something down then put the blankets over? Would that make up for it?

(Mod) Cardboard with blankets over it should be good they may rip it up so be prepared to replace when needed

I agree with everything you post and all your videos. Glad to know someone who cares deeply about ferrets or even animals in general. Just got my first Ferret today; and when I say I’ve done so much research on these animals and have done so for a long time. Especially since they are STILL banned in New York City; it made me do more research on them. I got mine anyway

i’m planning on getting a ferret, but how do i clean him if it’s not good to put shampoo on them? is special ferret shampoo not good for them either?

You can just use water or a damb towel to clean anything out of their fur that they cant remove themselves. But they are very clean animals and wash themselves just fine usually

i heard of a ball pit but for ferrets but they put balls and loads of rice in so they can dig is that true is this ok for them to play/use? all info welcomed

Elsa Herva Bedding, meaning BLANKETS, should get changed weekly. Litter should be scooped daily and a full change once a week

hey, ferrets don’t use bedding they use fleece blankets it’s so much better for them and more convenient. The litter all depends on how much your ferret is using the restroom I change mine out once every three days but take the poop out multiple times a day!!!

Honestly, some people (most people) don't deserve any animal. How could anyone do that to any animal. Even if they don't know any better they should do as much research possible. Which they would if they really did care for there well being. I get so mad, sad and angry at people who neglect animals. I'm not saying I'm perfect but I do as much research as possible (even with animals that I don't own. And I know more then some people who own that animal)
