I like raccoons that don’t hurt or kill or hiss at cats. It’s nice to see all species happy together.

I love how the cat just sits and watches!! The 2 outside cats I take care of just watch the racoons come and eat their leftovers, not say a peep, just watch them!! I commend you for all the hard work you do to have the cats and raccoons get along! I know you have other animals that get along with them also!! That is hard work!! My 4 cats still don't get along, better now, it has been 15 years!!! 3 old and an 8 year old!!!

I feed feral kittens and raccoon babies they have mutual distancing understanding lol but the raccoons seem more afraid of the kittens than vice versa.

Same here, feed my TNR cats, sometimes the raccoons show up at the same time and they're pretty much oblivious of each other.

If I walked into somebody's house and saw a pet raccoon I wouldn't be complaining at all.

I love how nonchalant the cats are around the raccoons. I wonder if they just think they are plus-size cats LOL

I support you, you learn from this as well, say to school that you got caught up in your studies of raccoons 🦝 that you are very passionate about, as of now you are studying ”Commensalism”; which is a long-term biological interaction (symbiosis) in which members of one species gain benefits while those of the other species neither benefit nor are harmed, between humans, dogs, cats and raccoons 🧐😂 Say it with confidence because it’s not really the term you would use for a relationship between humans and their pets, but it sounds fancy as fuck lol

I have no idea why I watch this channel or how I came across it, all that matters is that I am here watching the cutest animals on the planet. I also have never seen a raccoon in real life cause they don’t live where I live.

Interesting how sound raccoons sleep. Mine didn’t wake up so fast either. They don’t jump out of sleep like a cat or dog. Stayed very groggy for a little while. Wonder how they manage to stay safe in the wild?

This video was so cute, I’m glad they’ve become better friends. I’m curious if you’ve noticed any differences in how Piper and Cheeto interact vs how Tito and Cheeto did. I’ve had male and female raccoons but only 1 at a time. I’m interested if there is any difference in how male and female raccoons act towards each other vs how two males do. Regardless they seem to get along great and I’m so happy for them and for you guys.

Tito needs to come back, his vacation was long enough!

Agreed! This new interaction is a little scary because Tito ran away shortly after meeting Cheeto. Maybe he thought there was only room enough for one racoon in the family. 🤷‍♀️

They are critters, that is, wild raccoons in the city. Several ignorant people say: "they are a danger for us." I feed them every night since 7 years and I see no dangerous behavior, in fact, they fear humans, run away or climb trees. A curator of an American children's zoo wrote in a book that the raccoons are the most charming animals of the American continent, and I agree. But in my city here in Canada they need help with food, for lately the back alleys are cleaned of all food scraps for the night. A book' "Critters In The Urban Jungle" says this: "Wild life is shrinking, because there are too many people on this planet." Indeed, I saw a video, which said that every year tens of thousands of Canadian Geese are killed in America, because they continue flying down to the South to some meadows where they grazed, but the urban sprawl turned them into "pests", because of urban sprawl into those areas that had been theirs before.

Love all of your videos, and especially for the major reminder they give us: Humans are not the only animals on this planet who have intelligence, agency, inner emotional lives, and needs. In fact, that applies to most mammals (terrestrial and marine), all birds, marsupials, and certain cephalopods.

I love Piper and Cheeto, I am so happy they are best friends now. It also seems like the cats have warmed up to them too. 😸🦝 This does pose a curious question that I totally forgot if you guys addressed what happens when Piper matures and mating season comes around? I mean that out of pure curiosity. 😃

I had many wild raccoon friends. Now a mommy that I met when she first came around with her mom left me her babies. Eyes were still closed. My cat would babysit for the raccoon mothers while they roam at night.

I love how they aren’t even bothered by the cats.

Hello there, I also had 3 raccoons,2 cats, and 2 dogs. They all got along without any problems, there were a few issues at the start. But then they even slept together.

So Extremely Cute to see these Two play. One never would never see it in wildlife Raccoons. Their adorable.
