For anyone confused bc I was at first, Matt said on Unfiltered that he was originally supposed to propose the same week he got apendicitis. So this was filmed awhile ago but they had to wait since they talked about the proposal! But the engagement finally happens just 4 days ago!

I recognize “I love that for you” from Schitt’s Creek. It was a line that Alexis would say frequently, and there was always a slight hint of condescension but I personally don’t get offended by it because I know it’s a show reference

So do I. I cannot help when I don’t like sauces or veggies & fruits. People would be appalled at how “picky” I am. However, why does it bother people? Is it embarrassment or something? Because I make sure I make accommodations for myself- I don’t put it on others. I feel sometimes I’m just not allowed the same social eating benefits as others lol. That’s a genuine question too- I really have no clue what I’m supposed to do around other people & the judging aspect. Some insight would be helpful. /gen

I totally understand why people get frustrated with slow walkers but please keep in mind that a few of those people could have invisible disabilities that cause them to walk slower!!! I’m in a wheelchair now but around high school I was able to walk and looked totally “normal”, but I walked slow due to my disability and I was often made to feel bad about it and it really sucked. Just something to think about, no hate at all!! Love you guys 🤗

I was in a public bus a few weeks ago and this guy was blasting music videos through his smart phone. I happened to have an extra pair of Bluetooth headphones on me and literally gave them to him. he was a little older so I had to show him how to sync up but he was very appreciative and so was everyone else on the bus 😅😅

My fiance is super duper picky (and yes he had a bad childhood, and he's autistic and 34 years old), but after he had a mild stroke earlier this year, he actually started trying, and even liking new things. But slowly as he's recovered from the stroke, he doesn't want to try anything new anymore, but for that first month, we took full advantage and be tried so much new stuff and was so proud of himself and I was so happy for him!

Just a thing about the picky eater, same thing was said about me and there is an eating disorder called ARFID, (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder), super debilitating. It has to do with trauma surrounding food, there are safe foods and not safe foods. It can be based around choking or vomiting that can be part of why they eat what they do…Just for future reference!❤

My BIGGEST pet peeve is inconsideration. Which alot of times relates to most pet peeves. I just hate that others sometimes won’t consider people around them. Example: driving slow in the wrong lane with a line of cars behind you. Standing in a walkway and seeing people coming. And just stand there anyway. Just not considering other people. Aaah

I can’t explain the rage that comes out of me when I can hear someone chew their food. It’s irritates the day lights out of so much that I wish it didn’t because it puts me in such a bad mood that I can’t enjoy my meal either. 😫

The last podcast on irrational fears literally manifested me getting trapped in an elevator. 3 days after I listened to the episode I stepped into my friend’s apartments elevator with two strangers and 10 seconds after the doors closed we felt a jerk and a clanking sound and next thing we know we are calling the help line to be rescued. Sooo thankful it was only 3 of us trapped in there and we were only stuck for about 30 min because it’s a pretty busy apartment complex with 18 floors but seriously what are the damn odds that the first time I get trapped in one is after listening to your podcast?! Can your next topic be about winning the lotto so that i can manifest that instead? 😂

I wanna share this bc not many people know!! ARFID is an Eating Disorder that is picky/sensory eating. ARFID means Avoidant/Restricted Food Intake Disorder. Most people who have this eat like a “child” (which can be demeaning to some people), some people have trauma with food. I have ARFID, my personal experience I have mainly sensory problems meaning textures weird me out, sight, smell it all just makes me uncomfortable. Do your own research if you wanna learn more but just wanted to share.

LOL great episode! But uhm y’all if you are spending money at a restaurant and the food comes with things specially asked to have without..it’s getting sent back for sure !

What do you guys think about some thing I heard from a productive high performance motivational guy (I can’t remember who).. If someone is late yes it’s “wasting your time” but ultimately it’s your job to make sure you are being as productive with your time as possible. So if someone’s 10 minutes late you can use that time going through and responding to emails, Reading an article, Setting up an appointment (doctor, nails, hair etc.), calling a friend and chatting for a few mins. simple, quick and small tasks that we have on our to do lists to be more mindful w the time we spend waiting. I realize it’s rude to make someone late but it made me rethink it a little instead of waiting on someone and just scrolling mindlessly on my phone for 10-15 mins.
