I'm beginning to think a lexion is the ideal vehicle to do lands end to John o groats, its slow enough to really enjoy the stunning scenery while still plodding along and tall enough with massive windows so you really can make the most of view. Good luck pal. You've been through the wars but your still here to tell the tale.

Loved the counting "car colours". In the 70's we were doing 3 hour trips to Coventry EVERY day for 6 weeks, and we each (5 of us ) had a make of wagon to spot. Scammell and soon to be bigger Scania's were the most popular ones. Kept us sane on a cold/pissing down, dark winters morning.

I used to work at Sellars in Perth back in the 90s, I remember a case digger doing similar charity run. They stopped in for fuel and checkover

I’m 90% today had fun day with my grandson I showed him yesterday’s combine challenge video on my phone he loved it.

Great video and good luck with the rest of the trip. We have two 2D’s still in operation on our farm every year to weed our cauliflower. No AdBlue, 5 gallons of diesel a day and no ground compaction. When you come through Cornwall you will be a bit early to see them in operation though. See you on Thursday as you pass Hayle.

Sometimes that green fencing is snow fencing to stop drifts. Used to have it on the a14 near Felixstowe until it stopped snowing as much!

We used to have similar fencing on the Cotswolds, but it’s all gone now as we don’t often get the heavy snow in the winters now

Brilliant again today Olly, was watching most of the day on the Blue Rhino tracker, noticed you stopped several times, assumed you were meeting well wishers. Shap summit was beautiful, but wouldn't want to be there in middle of winter, farmers there must be a tough breed. Hope your Charlotte isnt studying the counts on the window, and I dont mean yellow cars!!!!! Good luck for leg 3, some familar roads for a change.
