The bridge is the “Kessock” bridge. 40 year old this year and the only seismically qualified in the UK. I see it everyday from my window. The bends was the Berrydale Breas. It use to be a LOT sharper

I thought the same about Berrydale and the hairpins look along wider than they used to be. It's been getting of for 20 years since I was up that far.

The bridge is called The Kessock Bridge and that steep, tight hill is called the berriedale braes.

I am a proud Scotsman that wanted to work in Agriculture but ended up in Banking but at least my best mate is a farmer and I can pretend to be a farmer whenever I want so all good. I hope you raise a lot of awareness to the subject of mental illness. I have never been further North than Helmsdale on the mainland but have worked on both Shetland and The Western Isles so you have experienced part of Scotland I have not. Good luck on your travels to all the team supporting you.

You crossed the Kessock Bridge then the Cromarty Bridge and then the Dornoch Bridge and the steep bit is the Berriedale Braes.

I enjoyed this video very much, i used to drive along that road on a fairly regular basis between North Wales and Orkney. The roads look a lot wider than they were 20 years ago. I wish you and your team the very best of luck with your adventure. Keep up the good work 👍

Well done Olly and team!! That hairpin bend after the downhill was a lot tighter before they straightened it out for the massive wind turbine blades to be taken along that road. 👍

Hi olly hope everything will go well for e and the roof rack if you get a bungi cord hook it on one side and wrap it around the roof rack to the other side and hook on there and that should stop the wind whistling on the roof rack okay hopefully that will help.

Real proud of what you are doing. This from. A guy struggling with mental issues. I am old school.and you do not talk about it

Kessock Bridge. The A9 passes through my old haunt in east Sutherland - Helmsdale-Brora-Golspie. Hope weather stays good.

I built that grain store just over the Keswick bridge in the 80,s and yes it was a farmers co-operative

The hill is Berriedale Braes, with the gravel run off. It was also tighter on the bit you drove up. The new bit has all the newly planted trees on the inside of the bend, where the angle has been widened, and now goes round the cemetery. If you have a look at google maps, on satellite view, it shows the old road, in the picture with the new road marked as well.
