The ONLY band with four equals.Missing Freddie and John,I have been there since the college gigs of 1971.Great to see him keeping the legacy alive,Bri is simply one of the most inspiring humans in history. Not that i didn't share the same values as yourself sir, but that i learned more of your fight against injustices. I haven't spent much time on line up until recent. Work and home, my work with feral cats and my domestic animals keep me busy.

I have been an fan since the 80's I am from across the pond lol. At the time another one bites the dust was my/our song at that time. All I know QUEEN was top notch... Brian May is a very wise man.

I love Brian’s political views. He sounds thoughtful and articulate. A smart and talented person. Decency should be spread around here in the USA too. We’ve had some terrifying moments a few years ago. I hope we can go into the future helping the poor, all creatures, and making the Uber rich pay taxes.

I agree that anyone who bases their political beliefs on a hard party line is never being true to themselves. I would not ever describe myself as a one issue voter, in that I may vote for someone who represents me in most ways but not in one specific way as I don't expect to agree with anyone on everything no matter who they are. There would still be some issues that are very important to me and I might go with someone who does not represent me as much as someone else in some ways, if they do agree with me on a topic that I am passionate about. Apolitical is a good place to be. I don't know how voting is handled in the UK, but here in the USA, we can register as "Decline To State" and not have to actually choose a party affiliation at all.

The interviewer was either driven by a corporate sponsored agenda or incapable of thinking outside 'outside the box' in dealing with Brian's non party affiliated political beliefs. Brian May was very patient in having to continually steer the interview away from from 'party politics' and the interviewer's obvious Tory bent. He showed that passion in decency and intelligent thinking is not party driven whichever side of the political divide. I know who I'd vote for!

We should all be so open minded and maybe there would be less division Like his thoughts on political issues

As a 70;s+ R+B guitar player myself I always thought he was the the classiest player I'd ever seen, yes I recognized that the whole band were superb musicians and singers but I still remember hearing hearing his brilliant 40-50s influenced "clarinet/alto sax " sounding riffs as a breath of fresh air. Funny that my dad was pretty mean old school (Glen Miller etc.) sax player who thought that Elvis & Buddy Holly were rubbish.

Yes in Windlesham.Had the pleasure of meeting him a few times,I politely said hello ,he was so chatty.First in 1989 in a Camberley arcade with his son Jimmy..he was eating a bag of beef crisps! Remembered a sad look when I asked when they would tour again,Bri is a sensitive guy and he couldn't hide it.I knew then about Freddie,never told a soul.

Thanks for "The show must go on" Brian May. This is the greatest creation. P.S- Freddie Mercury The Best,no one will replace him...

Most wonderfully explained animal issues and yes they need our voice as explained because they can not.speak for themselves against the human majority that controls and uses them without empathetic care for them.

How long have you known him? You can hear all this stuff from most of the homeless people in the world with there unique views mostly like this. Talking about how animals can’t speak about there abuse. Why don’t you spend your days with them? He won’t even say who he votes for or if he has voted conservatives before. He’s afraid of everything.

Strictly voting one party over another hasn't gotten us very far. I too am a strong believer on voting issues over party. Usually agreeing on issues will cause voters to lean more towards one party, but voting a straight party line can cause more problems than it solves.

Agree. I vote primarily on the policies I feel will uplift the working class and poor and will protect our environment. I will not support any politician whose policies are inhumane, cruel, and only serving corporate interests. I'm an independent and don't pledge allegiance to any party. Of the major two parties in the US, I do favor the Democrats. But I will rightfully criticize the party if I disagree with their strategy or whatever. I absolutely despise the corporate wing represented by corrupt scumbags like Joe Manchin for example. I think we really just need to just stop being tribal and allowing ourselves to be divided by dishonest actors. Whether they be crooked politicians, corporate media hacks, conspiracy theorists, or grifters online.

He’s a terrible human being! He wouldn’t say who he votes really but quite happy to talk about his dad’s insecurities that would make him die of embarrassment, but he wanted people to know he made his Dad feel small. I simply would not talk about my Dad to strangers especially stuff he was ashamed of.

God, thid nterviewer was insufferable. He was practically begging Brian to say something negative about Boris Johnson

Yes voting for Johnson,simply because he would stop a badger cull seems counterintuitive ,and as for Michael Gove ?

I think Brian did an amazing job of not falling in to the typical media trap of trying to define people by a party political allegiance. It's unnerving to see how stumped the interviewer became at the end - ‘does not compute’ was written all over the interviewers face. The sooner people learn to be less tribal about politics the better - and Brian, for me at least, embodies that.
