Robert, my mother was not an Adventist when she married my father. My father never forced her to change religion. She was Catholic. And it wasn't until my parents had all 7 of us that my mom decided to get Bible studies and get baptized. Like you and your wife, my parents loved each other and had a wonderful relationship and understanding of one another. But I believe through example and gentle guiding, my mother came into the truth on her own. And as they got older, my father use to say that my mom was a better Adventist than he was. They were not perfect, but through their humility and love for Jesus ( and meaningful family worships) all 7 children are still in the faith or are still Christians to this day. There is nothing like a patient husband who loves Christ, that will eventually bring his wife into the fold. God bless you and your family! 🙏🙏🙏

Robert...I am always inspired by people's testimonies. I listened to your sisters just before I watched yours. I am a convert to the SDA church, and I am married to non-Christian woman. My children are not following in the path I have chosen as yet. Yet my prayers, like those who prayed for you, give me hope for my wife and children. I have been truly inspired by your father's ministry! I have the utmost respect for him. I can't imagine how difficult it was for you and your sister to share your father with the world. With that said I am so happy that the Lord was finally able to reach your heart! There is only one of you in the entire universe, and our heavenly Father does not want to lose you nor any one of us. I really enjoyed your testimony. I raised my two kids in the church & in our church schools & neither of them will have anything to do with it now. I pray for them all the time but I worry that we don’t have much time left & am afraid for them & my grandchildren’s lives. If only they would listen to me. But they consider me a fanatic 😢 I totally understand what your parents went through. It’s heart wrenching to watch when there is nothing that you can say or do to get someone’s attention. Praise God that you have come back to your first love. I pray for my Christian Brothers & Sisters all over the world who have lost their children to the world🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Thanks for this testimony. God bless the Veiths. They are such a blessing to us. Not an easy task to lay bare your struggles for the world to see. Raindrops are falling all around ❣️ And the Lord assured me a few nights ago while praying that with all my faults are many reasons for my adult children to not see me as an example for their own salvation. So that when God completes His work in their hearts it will be obvious to all that it was never me because I can’t save anyone even myself. God gets all the glory for each of our salvation and faithfulness. So much of your testimony I can relate to. God is so loving to save us from a lifetime of slavery to sin. I thoroughly enjoyed this testimony and thank you for sharing it! I absolutely love your father. I could listen to him forever. I love all his lectures and I have learned soo much! I was baptized in 2020 at 50 yrs old. That's how long it took me to realize how important allowing & accepting Jesus into my life. Like you, I did the worldly things to feel accepted. Music, drinking etc...and I was not happy. Do as thou wilt was not a good thing. Now I am at total peace. Happy 100%, no depression, no anxiety, no fear. I listen to your father's lectures everyday to keep me grounded. I always thought how lucky his children or grandchildren are to have access to this man & his knowledge in their life. If I had discovered & listened to his information decades ago, I would have been much better off and avoided soo many devilish temptations that wreaked havoc in my life with relationships etc...He inspired me to get baptized, so he may have helped save one more soul. Thank you so much for your testimony..when I was young growing up in the church I couldn’t wait it get out of my church. When I was 14 or 15 my mother couldn’t make me go to church so I didn’t go. I left my little island and travelled to NY in 1967. My sister and I never went to church but, I always knew that our mother was praying for all of her children. The Lord is merciful and he drew my sister and her children and our cousin and her children back to the church. He was merciful to me and after two failed marriages and being on my own He gently drew me back to himself…..I know for sure that my mother’s prayers kept all of us. Praise God that He doesn’t do to what we deserve. He is longsuffering,not willing that we should perish…thank God for your parents who never gave up on you. Thank you for your testimony. It touched my heart as there are some similarities in my story. I am 30 years ahead of you and God has kept me close, there is Hope for us wayward children. That last scene you described where you went to a party and were repulsed by what was going on, that was God putting enmity between you and the sinful world. “I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:15. It is Grace that Christ implants in the soul which creates in man enmity against Satan. GC506. The whole chapter 30 of Great Controversy is on Enmity between Man and Satan. Christ has our back, brother Robert!

I could see that you among your other siblings needed the most support growing up and more direction which your parents could not give you due to the calling on Walter's life. You're rebellion during all those years was a cry of attention . you wanted to have more of your father's presence. I am sorry for that. I know you are probably not interested in knowing how much your father's teachings have impacted the world. millions of people have come to the truth because of his teachings which were never spoken by anyone in the Christian world. You had your own pain which you were dealing all by yourself. I am so glad to hear you have a family and you have direction in your life now. I personally owe a lot to your dear Dad's ministry, through the knowledge he researched and shared I started to understand the prophecy and how it relates to our life today. How much your family and yourself have suffered for their labour for the Lord Jesus, without a shadow of doubt we know it was the devil who used his devish attacks to your parents through you and your siblings. Yet we each have personally responsibility to fight this spiritual battle and make our personal choice by the help of God, as you have shared, we need to understand the way God works. Father, please send angelic forces to deliver these lives of their loved ones from allt the attacks of the enemy who is the destroyer, please remind him he will be the one who is destroyed, and that the merits of Christs blood shed on the Cross on their behalf to deliver, restore them to mature spiritual health, and to use them as another testimony and make them trophies of your grace. Thank you for sharing your testimony. Praise God you have decided to live for Him now. I fully relate to the drinking and smoking. I stopped smoking immediately when i found Jesus again but the drinking stopped when i started reading the bible and spirit of prophecy. I was a little stubborn to let go of some things. The Lord helps us overcome, we certainly cannot do it ourselves.

It brings great hope to my heart. I have children who were brought up in the Adventist faith. Some have chosen His Path others not But the important part is the Faithfulness of God. Robert, we can pray and ask God to provide for a hedge of protection around our children and ask Him to impress us with what He would have us say or do in any intercourse with them. We also must ask God to help us be the example we, ourselves must be in order to demonstrate Christ in us. We also can give God permission to keep knocking at the door of their hearts so they feel their need to submit to our Creator, our life sustainer and our redeemer. I will be praying for you and your family, Robert. Stay the course - with Christ working in you and thru you, you can be fully delivered.

Robert, thank you for your testimony. So many SDA kids rebel against their upbringing. My 2 sons, now grown, told me they didn’t fit in with their friends and have left the church. I pray that they will return to the faith while there is still time. Satan is working to destroy families and get children to leave the faith they were taught at home. I claim the promise “Bring up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it “.

Blessed Sabbath at all first. I enjoy that Jesus brought you back to the first love to Jesus and following Him. But I still miss in your testimony, thT you will say more about how Jesus made you free fromyour addicts and how you live now as a man of God. For sure, it was an answer to the prayers of your parents Erwin Keck once said "There is northing that will bring more changes than prayer. It is the thing, with it will stay and fall everything.". That is so true! So be a man of prayer! GBY! 🙏🙏🙏🎁
