You answered my question!!! Yay!!!🎉 You make me relax about not being perfect and you always make me feel empowered to listen to my body. I feel justified in eating because I too am a volume eater....and even after losing over 180 pounds I struggle at times with guilt for loving food. Watching your channel daily reminds me it's ok to trust my hunger and fullness cues and ACTUALLY enjoy my food! Thank you do much Ami!!!

I love the way you talk and how excited you are! My husband and I went Vegan 4 years ago. We slowly transitioned to Whole Foods Plant Based Diet. We have so much energy, we work out more, we run, we play tennis... I work full time, I cook and have my own cooking channel. We volunteer and support Animal rescues... I pack so much into my day and I feel like I never get tired. I used to be so tired in my 20-ties. And now in my 50-ties I am never tired. You are Amazing Ami, an inspiration to many. Much Love you to and the rest of the family.

I’m very low fat, high raw. I eat lots of raw fruits, veggies and dark leafy greens. When I feel like it I add steamed or simple baked veggies with my simple raw meals. ❤❤❤ When I consume only cooked I feel so lethargic but the more raw, the lighter, brighter and energetic I feel 🎉🎉🎉

The black cloud: I am an ovarian cancer survivor. Ovarian cancer is well known for returning with a vengeance. So - black cloud. For a significant period of time I was unable to see the future because - why? If I am going to die anyway. But I have finally come to the realization that life is going on, at least for now, and that includes looking forward. Thank you for the reason. For today I am a butterfly!

May I recommend you look into Dr. Joe Dispenza?! He has a YT channel, just google his channel for "ovarian cancer" testimonials. Also, Kris Carr is a good source, she has an incurable kind of cancer (very rare), and she is doing incredibly well for such a long time now. Her book is called "Crazy Sexy Cancer". Never, ever give up! And don't believe everything the doctors tell you....

Loved the Q&A! You answered so many great questions. I've done raw in the past. I do like it but felt like I had to eat much more to get full and also felt like prepping everything was more time consuming. I was also making juice every morning as breakfast which took a ton of produce and time plus cleaning the juicer after. I would probably try it again without the juicing aspect. Most of the raw people I follow incorporate juices but that really takes extra time. I actually lost weight on a raw diet pretty easily. But i'd be curious to see what you would eat every day if you were eating raw. Definitely going to incorporate the arm workout. Your arms are looking amazing!

Hi Ami, this was really fun! You are such a joy! Thank you for sharing! Just in case you are wondering who your audience is, here goes. I am Vi (rhymes with pie) from a northern suburb of New York City. I'm a retired dietetic technician, 67 years old, 2 kids, 5 grandkids aged 2-7, whom we babysit often. I have a cat named Cookie (she looks like an Oreo), who I am crazy about. Yes, I am a crazy cat lady. For the holidays my daughter bought me a T shirt that says "Badass Vegan Cat Mom"! I've been WFPB since 8/2022, was pescatarian since 1990. I immerse myself in the WFPB KZread community through videos with you, PB with J, Chef AJ, etc, for support to continue my food journey for health, animals and the environment. I enjoy doing this and getting great recipes, ideas, information and a lot of moral support from it, which I need, since I was, unfortunately, born into a family of people who struggle with food addiction. I've been following Dr McDougall and Dr Ornish since around 1990 and now Drs Greger, Essylstyn, Campbell and many others that I also discovered watching Chef AJ. They are all pillars of WFPB and I love and appreciate them all. I bought your Valentine e-book and so far I made your red velvet ice cream, which is divine!. I appreciate you and your family (Abe and Romi are so precious) and will continue watching. Thanks so much! Love ya, Vi

The hardest thing for me has been the other people that live in my house that bring in things that I''m trying to not eat (and they shouldn't be eating either). For instance, my new roommate is now trying to go vegan, but she is doing it by buying all kinds of vegan cheeses and meat replacements and all the vegan junk food. I've been trying to not buy these things, but she buys it and is then like, "I bought this to share with you". Ugh.

I’m not interested in going raw, but I have no clue. I’m vegan, no oil, no processed foods, etc. So, I’m curious, when one eats raw, does that mean no beans, legumes, tofu? BTW, I’m a volume eater too, very healthy, lots of tofu, tempeh, avocado, dates, olives, nuts, seeds, & nut/seed butters, potatoes, rices, beans, lentils, quinoa, pasta made out of quinoa, coconut flakes, veggies like broccoli, green beans, squashes, eggplant, mushrooms, green peas, fruits, soaked oats, cacao powder, all kinds of sweet potatoes, nutritional yeast, soaked oats, etc. I actually never eat salads, but I think I should incorporate more dark leafy greens and raw veggies. I do eat baby carrots cooked and raw. And plant milks. And sometimes tomatoes. Well, that’s it in a nutshell. I love your chocolate cake recipe, I just made my second one today:)
