My first time. Loved the unsophisticated reality of this film. My late father was born in a small Russian village, probably something like this one. Odd, but I felt homesick watching this. And my Grandfather looked very similar to the old man....... Do you ever feel, like I did, that you were guided to a certain movie?

Dude i literally was almost about to cry when Tanya supposedly died. I was all like "NO YOU CAN LIVE, JUST TELL HIM WHERE THE RING IS AT AND THEN TELL HIM TO TELL HIS BOSS THAT YOU ESCAPED" GAHHHHH, I shipped them from the beginning, and it was awesome how she wouldnt really budge completely, like women do in U.S.A movies, personally i'm not a romantic movie type of person, but this one really moved me. Not to mention the FREAKING PLOT TWIST AT THE END OML. GREAT MOVIE, THANK YOU SO MUCH.

wow, I am very appreciating Russian melodrama...watching from the Philippines.

I almost dropped watching it when the protagonist woman was drowned but thank God I held it a little bit more. I would not have seen the happy ending haha. I am loving Russian movies now. I think this is my 5th movie. I am trying to learn Russian and I decided to watch Russian movies. The first one is Cinderella and then here I come. Wonderful movie. So many mistakes in the production but I dont expect much from russian sinema. This probably the best one I have seen so far.

It's really very good movie with full surprise from beginning till ending. The story is unpredictable. The ending is I'm Glad it's happy ending The Cop that neighbour guy finally save her. He really love her. He resigned and she live happily with him.

Very much natural everything; acting, scene, dialogues. Wow! Enjoyed a lot!

Who else is watching this gem of a movie because everything else is closed due to the covid19.

C'est un film intéressant, un scénario original, je l'ai apprécié. J'estime que le plan final dans l'autobus est une trouvaille magnifique pour exprimer le bonheur entre deux êtres et cela sans recourir au traditionnel baiser. Un regret toutefois, j'ai déjà visionné plusieurs productions de la société Star Média ( dont le magnifique en 12 épisodes) et je me demande pourquoi cette firme ne donne pas de versions en français ( à condition toutefois que la traduction soit bonne car j'a vu différents films russes avec traduction en français , quelle pitié c'était incompréhensible ). Enfin pour terminer j'aimerais exprimer toute la gratitude du vieil homme que je suis au peuple russe, Hourra, Hourra, Hourra !!

I have given thought to foreign language study. Kalboska = sausage perhaps always pepperoni pastrami whatever policeman said to classist female. It will be hopeless for me to learn languages without exact captions for both, pronunciation keys, and an alphabet remember-able perhaps as a song. An incomplete example was movie title "Private Interest" or "Personal Interest", for which no clue was announced for Russian pronunciation. The only words sounding identical in all languages are names

English-language has a small portion contrary to phonetics, and better if explained by credible origin note. Example word meaning 'food' rarely heard is "victuals" sounds like vittles, so often I misspell that word. Customers enroute to sandwich driveway almost never use that word, although wrongly spelled its meaning can be memorized by mispronouncing its first syllable vowel as vitals, as in essential sustenance. That is not imaging memory after correct spelling is discovered to look like "victuals". First syllable compares similar to "victory", for when enroute to food often involved violent contest for vegetable plants, or else a prey retreating from predator in pursuit. Mystery behind "the spoils belong to the victorious victor" throughout historic warfare, secretly meant a dead/wounded/captured soilder's lunchbox and snack-pockets was always examined first. Better that english has a small portion of these mistake-ables or else bulky memory notes would have restricted lessons forgettable as un-useful. I suspect alphabet, pronouncing its letters, and tricky Russian words cannot begin to evaluate my learn-ability until after finding relaxed experts accessible, then studying a few word possibilities. Maybe russian is too complicated like my first language english! I am switching when/if I learn easier language.
