It's very easy once you understand basic perspective lol the other stuff he did is much harder

I think the most important takeaway for other animators is that animation is at its best when you have fun

i agree with this one! animation is just fun, you can draw and animate whatever you like if you take your time. The feeling after you drew for a while is always refreshing

0:35 Something about that whole flipping sequence really hit hard. Just seeing the boy bounce around, so energetic, so expressive, so free. That’s probably my favorite one here just from the contagious joy of it all. You are exceptionally skilled, sir ❤

The insanely fast movement at 0:16 was so cool! It's always fun when characters turn into fast-moving energy circles.

There's nothing i love more than seeing Chris upload an animation reel and it's levels better than his last. Just goes to show how much work this man puts in regularly to improve this much. Much love Chris!

The way you animate and what you animate resembles perfectly why I wanna learn animation, to express myself however I want and all teh scenes I like and the ones that are in my head. I mean, just look at the character you animating just for making him jump around, that alone reflects so much creativity and freedom at the moment of make a character move. I LOVE IT! Damn chris just straight fire choreography The most impressive was backflips one with constant rotation. It was really smooth, and i really like the character consistency. It was smoothest, like in frieren dancing scene is there with rotation around character flawlessly.

that's part of the point of compiling and uploading these. i always use them to look back at the mistakes I've been doing in the past, but also to remember the ideas i had at that point in time. It's also interessting because you will see how your own style starts to develope over time.

That first animation would work really well with gear 5. The fluidity and freedom of your animations are pretty much the embodiment of that transformation.
